Vortex is dedicated to the development and production of unique optics with features that allow you to see the world more clearly.
Viper riflescopes offer a cornucopia of high-end features to enhance your next great outdoor adventure. These scopes are fitted with XD-glass objective lenses with XR multicoatings for a refined sight picture with brilliant contrast and edge-to-edge clarity. Repeatable accuracy is ensured by the Precision-Glide Erector System and the Precision-Force Spring System - your zero will be easy to attain, and it'll stay put under recoil.
The importance of refinements such as the MAG-View Lever, pop-up turrets, and argon purging becomes readily apparent when you catch that first glimpse of a trophy buck way up high on a distant ridge. Your sight picture will be crystal clear, and rich with previously unseen details. Adjusting windage and elevation will seem effortless - you'll be on target at any distance in a flash.
This Viper PA 6.5-20x50 offers high-magnification for long-range target acquisition, and a large 50mm objective for a brighter sight picture. It's configured with a 30mm main-tube, tall turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks and 68 MOA of travel, a Dead-Hold BDC reticle, and a matte black finish.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. is Metabones Nikon G compatibel with nikon 200-400mm lens?
A: Yes. It will work with any Nikon lens -- older lenses with aperter rings and newer G lenses which have no aperture ring. With G lenses you set the aperture on the adapter.
Q: 2. so with this adapter I can connect my Nikon lenses to my gh4, but how can I change my aperture since the lense is not the native lense?
A: Aperture is changed manually by turning the aperture ring on the adapter.
Q: 3. will this work with Tamron lenses with for Nikon cameras? Also, will it work with older manual focus Nikon lenses (non G)?
A: It should work fine with what you want. I have a couple of non-G lenses that I used with it. it worked fine. They will all be manual focus and not lens data will go to the camera The nex and A7 series cameras will read the light though and adjust on their own unless you set to full manual. I use in Aperture priority and it works great. Make sure to turn on the focus peaking on the camera it's very helpful.
Q: 4. Will these fit the Vortex Fury HD 5000?
A: The Vortex Tethered Objective Lens Caps for 42mm Razor HD Binoculars (Set of 2) BH #VOTOLC242MMR • MFR #SW-51 will fit the 42mm Razor HD binoculars. only.
Q: 5. Can This adapter works to attach my AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD (nikon Mount) to the Sony A7s ?
A: Yes, they are fully compatible.
Q: 6. Does this adapter works with lenses that has a aperture ring already? So will it also work for non-G lenses?
A: This adapter does not work with Nikon F mounted lenses with an aperture like AI-s or AF-D series lenses. For an adapter that is compatible with these kind of lenses, please see B&H # MENFEBM2 .
Q: 7. Will this work with the Sony a6000?
A: I have the Sony a7rII but I just checked around and on another site someone asked if this was compatible with the Sony a6000 and the answer was yes.
Q: 8. Can you control the aperture of a pc-e lens? Is there any solution?
A: The aperture is control by the manual iris ring on the meta bones. I believe there are seven stops to close down. The aperture will NOT be controlled by the camera body.
Q: 9. As a Nikon D800 videographer I'm thinking to migrate to the new Sony A7S II keeping my lenses. Will I be able to change on the go aperture and focus (not continuous, just by pressing the button)? Thanks!
A: You can manually focus and change the aperture while recording. But there is not auto-focus connection to the camera. So there is no pressing the button involved. Note: I'm using this on a Sony A6000 and Sony NEXCAM camcorder - both have smaller APS-C sensors (aka DX) than the A7S II (FX - like the Nikon D800). I cannot confirm if you will get vignetting or not with the full-frame Sony A7 series.
Q: 10. I recently purchased a Sony a6000 and would like an e-mount adapter for my Nikon lenses. I have a Nikkor 18-200 1:3.5-5.6 G ED DX lens (no aperture ring) and a Nikkor 70-200 1:28 G ED lens (no aperture ring) as well as a Micro Nikkor 200 m 1:4 D lens (with aperture ring) and a Nikkor 1:2.8 D 20mm (with aperture ring). Is there an adapter that will accommodate both types of lenses? Which adapters would you recommend for these lenses?
A: Since not all of your lenses are G lenses, I would not advise you to use this particular Nikon F mount to Sony E mount adapter. I suggest the Voigtlander adapter, which will enable to use the manual aperture ring on the 200mm f/1.4D lens, and will enable to you to control the aperture speed of your G lenses through the camera body. Please note however, that automatic lens functions will not be retained with the use of this adapter, such as autofocus or auto exposure: http://bhpho.to/1jwxfRW
