Really folks, do you need to raise your hands when you have nothing to say?The answer is yes, of course it works. It works on OS X.9, X.10, X.11, X.12, X.13. And remember, this comes with Silverfast, great powerful software and that's the part that you'll be using (or Epson Scan, good software that also works with Macs with no issue).

A: I've used both extensively and unless you need the quicker scan cycle of the LED on the V850, there is no real difference. In fact, if you have a 750 that is working well, I'd suggest you not buy the V850. Epson does not seal the cases of their scanners so a new scanner may well have internal dust that will spoil scans in certain positions on the glass. If that happens, it is very difficult to correct.
