Output resolutions up to 1920x1200 and 1080p are accommodated. In addition to converting between PC and HD, the unit can take a 480i Component Video signal (from a DVD Player for example) and convert it to PC or HD resolutions. The output resolution and refresh rate is selected via push buttons on an on-screen display. The integral processor provides control over many signal parameters, such as: Contrast, Brightness, Color Saturation, Sharpness, R-GB Levels and Aspect Ratio.

The unit is 5VDC powered and the included power adapter feature is a locking DC connector for security.

Q: 1. Does the AI coupling tang have to be modified and folded back on the F6 and D3s for this lens to be mounted to these bodies?

A: The Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED Tilt-Shift Lens is not an AI or AI-S lens, and no physical adjustments or modifications to the lens are required to use the lens on either the Nikon D3s DSLR Camera or the Nikon F6 35mm Film SLR Camera. The Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED Tilt-Shift Lens is fully compatible with the Nikon D3s. When using the Nikon F6 35mm Film SLR Camera, you will not be able to adjust the aperture setting using the camera control dials (you must use the aperture ring on the lens), and the only exposure mode that is compatible would be the full Manual mode (Program Auto, Shutter-Priority, and Aperture-Priority will not work when using the Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED Tilt-Shift Lens). Also, when tilting/shifting the lens, handle the lens with care while shifting and/or tilting. Failure to do so may cause the lens to scratch the camera body. Otherwise, no other adjustments are necessary when using the above lens on either the Nikon D3s DSLR camera or Nikon F6 35mm Film SLR camera.

Q: 2. Is this lens usable with the old nikon film cameras as nikon fm?Thank you in avanceJean

A: The Nikon PC-E Nikkor 24mm f/3.5D ED Manual Focus Lens is compatible with all 35mm Nikon SLR cameras, including the Nikon FM, in manual mode.

Q: 3. what's the delay of this conversion? will it maintain audio?

A: The delay can be up to 2 frames based upon conversion type. Audio will be maintained.

Q: 4. Will this convert 1080i 59.94 to 1080i 29.97?

A: No. As Brian C. mentioned there is a 1080PsF@29.97 or 1080p@29.97 but not 1080i. The progressive segmented frame (PsF) is ideal when converting interlaced to progressive I think...

Q: 5. Will this 24mm PC-E lens work with the following camera bodies, D800E, D810, D4, and D7000? I read various reports that the lens knobs may contact certain camera bodies when the lens is rotated. What concerns should I have if using this lens with these camera bodies?

A: Works great on my D810. I having been using it over 2 years.

Q: 6. Will this lens work with a DX-300?

A: This is an F-mount lens, so yes it will fit any Nikon F-mount camera. One just has to apply the crop factor of approximately x1.5 when using the lens on a DX camera body. That would make this roughly a 36mm equivalent lens at that point.

Q: 7. Is there a usb type c output?

A: The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter UpDownCross HD's USB-C port is for managing the converter and updating the firmware, it is not a video output.

Q: 8. Is this lens auto exposure? I sometimes prefer manual focus anyway so that is not a problem.

A: It's completely manual. This lens requires a lot of time and patience. But the results are incredible.

Q: 9. Can this product do 1080p29.97 to 480p29.97?

A: I do not believe so. According to the dip switch settings on the back the lowest resolution is 525.

Q: 10. Will this lens have full tilt & shift motion on D810? (i.e. will it hit the camera body before it is fully tilted or shifted?)

A: No it will not hit the body during either operation. Clearance is not an issue. I own an D810. It's is a great lens

This is my 2nd PT-P700 and I use them both. The very large print enable me to see from a distance. My vision is less than 20/20. I have many trays of items to label. I use large labels help me organize lots of documents.

I like the fact it does labels up to 1" wide and the software version is much better than the old version I had for an earlier PC compatible Brother Printer.

I have gone through one 1/2" label cartridge, and the printer has worked fine. The main criticism of the system is the wasted tape at the beginning of each label run. I can see that this is necessary because of how the tape is layered with the tape, print and lamination, so I don't mind that so much. I would encourage anyone purchasing the printer to download the free, full featured software (P-Touch editor), rather than using the quickie, autoloading program. With P-Touch editor, the tape wasted at the beginning of the label run is less, and you can string as many labels as you want together, eliminating more waste, up to the limit of the tape on the cartridge.

Though I bought it for myself, I used it recently to create custom labels while on the road for my company. I love the flexibility incurred through being able to connect it to my PC and save each label. A real time saver!

The printer makes very nice labels and with Brother's label software (free download) it becomes very powerful and versatile as well. Being able to use all your installed fonts as well as clip-art and photos is fantastic!

It works great. The software makes it easier than the stand alone versions. The only negatives thus far are: 1. Constant software updates, 2. wastes tape at the lead edge.

I work for the railroad and wish that Brother could produce a sleeve label cartridge, the sleeve label would slide over the identifying wire.
