The Easyrig Cinema 3 200N Gimbal Rig is a body-worn support system for camera operators working with handheld motorized gimbal rigs weighing 8 to 13 lb. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso. This lets you shoot for longer periods of time without worrying about arm fatigue. The system consists of the Gimbal Rig Vest, 200N shock absorber, and a 5" extended support arm. As the name suggests, the Gimbal Rig Vest is optimized for use with motorized gimbal stabilizers, providing increased lower back support that allows you to carry weights further away from your body. Also included is a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport of the Easyrig system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The easyrig requires two. Does this come with two or just one?

A: Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your email. An official Easyrig only requires one Shock Absorber for operation, therefore this item only has one (1) included. If you own an Easyrig that requires more than one shock absorber, I would make sure that it is not an off-brand duplicate. If you have any additional questions, please contact 16x9 Inc. at (661)295-3313 or info@16x9inc.com.

Q: 2. Does this item comes with a flowcine serene pre-installed?Cause its mentions on the name of the product Easyrig Vario 5 Vest with Flowcine Serene Pre-Installed B&H # EAVGRSE with the price of 6860$ and than I have the same option with the price 7069$ with the number B&H # EAVGRSEEXTso what is the difference between them if the both names are saying the flowcine serene pre-installed?

A: The more expensive package includes the Serene Extension. This extension, which works in 10mm increments, allows you to find the perfect distance the camera can be from your body. More information is here: https://bit.ly/2GKcVPP

Q: 3. is the carry bag the STANDARD, PLUS, KING, QUEEN, ect. size?

A: The Easyrig Vario 5 with Gimbal Rig Vest and 5" Extended arm comes in the Plus Bag.

Q: 4. I have a panasonic cx 350, would this camera work with this rig?

A: Yes, the top handle of the Panasonic CX350 has mounting points that will allow you to attach either the 1/4 20 stud from the Easyrig 400N Standard Cinema 3 quick release. However we suggest looking at the Easyrig MiniMax for your camcorder the weight support is more inline to the weight of the CX350 when using the Easyrig MiniMax. Q: 5. What is the difference between the Gimbal Rig and Cinema 3 vests? The images and descriptions are too vague.

A: The Gimbal Rig has a modified vest has been designed with a wider front, fitting around the waist and over the hips This allows the camera operator to carry weight further away from the body.Cinema 3 is the heavy duty model for 35 mm movie cameras with weights between 15 25 kg (33 55 lbs). For further information, please visit easyrig.se.

Q: 6. For Gimbal work, MoviPro, is a 5" extended arm or the 9" extended arm better? Currently shooting with a Canon C500 and want to be able to use both the Movi and without the Movi. Earlier this year I rented a friend's EasyRig 2.5 and had to push the Movi far out in front of my body, which made the EasyRig basically useless, the weight was in front of the arm.

A: For gimbal work, 9" arm extensions or 5" arm extensions with Flowcine Serene stabilizer would be optimal for distance from body. If you need to do double duty, then the 5" arm may be able to work for your needs without being at the extreme ends of the standard arm or 9".

Q: 7. Would this not work well with a lighter set up? Say 12-16lbs. I often use the Minimax, but sometimes have heavier setups.

A: This is designed to work with setups between 24 to 28.5 pounds. It will not work with a lighter setup.

Q: 8. Is this available in xs-small? How do you differentiate when ordering?

A: The size of the Easyrig is based on the camera, not the user. If an xs-small vest was made, it would not adequately fit the operator or be able to hold it's 39 lbs payload. The various Easyrigs are adjustable to most any body size. There are Easyrigs that are made for female operators as well. So that we may best assist you, please email us. provideo@bhphoto.com.

Q: 9. Looking at purchasing the DJI Ronin M compact stabilizer. I want an easy rig to use with it to save my back. I am using Canon camera's on the stabilizer. Which easy rig would work best and not break the bank?

A: I have used the Easy Rig, found it to be a good design and feel it would be well suited for the Ronin M flying Canon cameras/lenses.In time, I would imagine you will wish to also consider the Flowcine line of products to make the camera super smooth and yet not break your back or exhaust your arms.http://bhpho.to/1LCBcsvIn action:https://a href= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmVUOdtks2w target= _blank www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmVUOdtks2w/a

Q: 10. Can anyone recommend a hard case option for flying with the Vario 5?

A: For the Easyrig Vario 5 with Gimbal Rig Vest and 5- Extended Arm, the Pelican 1650 Case with Foam (Black) (BH #PE1650FB), would support the dimensions of the Easyrig, when disassembled. https://bhpho.to/3cM3vJT
