The Tiffen 67mm Warm Black Diffusion/FX 1 Filter diffuses strong light entering the lens and produces a glowing effect. While the resulting image appears softer and ethereal, there is little loss of clarity or detail. This filter works by diffusing the light entering the lens with small aberrations; by spreading the light more evenly, a soft glow is created rather than the sharp, well-defined image when shooting without a filter. In addition to the diffusion provided, a warming effect is also integrated into the filter helping to further balance skin tones. This filter has a 1 density, providing a small amount of softening.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Additional warmth provided adds more of a glowing effect and helps to further balance skin tones.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. In prev question states TSA friendly, how about the tripod with it ?thank you Alan

A: I don't travel much on the airlines, but if you use a small travel type tripod that folds to 16 inches or so, I would think there would be no problem. The problem I see looking at this Backpack is, there is really no where to mount a tripod to it. It has side pockets as you can see in the picture, but no where up top to strap down the tripod at the top.

Q: 2. Is there a big enough sleeve for a MacBook Pro or other laptop to go in it along with all the camera equipment?

A: This works fine as a camera bag. We never use it for anything else. To my knowledge it doesn't even have a sleeve for a laptop. I am happy with the quality of this bag for the price. It isn't a LowePro but it is very serviceable.

Q: 3. I use a quick release plate for Manfrotto tripod. What is the distance from tripod screw hole to battery door? I want to be able to open battery door without removing quick release plate which is just over 1 inch wide.

A: the battery door would open with a small Quick-Release Plate the distance is about 1-1/8"

Q: 4. Can this fit 2 pro dslr bodies, 24-70 lens,85mmlens, 70-200mm, and a wide angle lens and still have room for 2 sb910?

A: I believe it would fit all of this equipment. I carry all the same stuff, except for just one flash unit. I think it might be a tight fit, but would probably handle all that.

Q: 5. Is it water resistant?

A: Yes

Q: 6. Is it possible to access to the gear from the top zipper? So it can fit a DSLR with grip attached to a 300mm 2.8? Would it fit if 2x extender is attached?

A: No, the top and main compartments are seperate.

Q: 7. I have to wonder how this lens compares to the Nokton 50 1.5 ASPH. I'm on the fence about both for my M2. Anyone know?

A: Both the Zeiss 50mm f/2 Planar and the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.5 are beautiful lenses, and it would be hard to go wrong with either. Each will render images slightly different. Colors will be a bit warmer with the Zeiss, and images will have enhanced 3-dimensionality. I would suggest renting each of the lenses. You should be able to find both of them at a place like a href= http://lensrentals.com. target= _blank lensrentals.com./a You would then have a chance to see which lens better fits the aesthetic you are going for.

Q: 8. Can the Canon EG-E1 Extention grip fit the Canon R7 mirrorless camera.

A: The Canon EG-E1 Extension Grip (Blue) is not compatible with the Canon R7 camera.

Q: 9. Does this also fit the EOSR?

A: It was designed specifically for the EOS RP.

Q: 10. Saw on Kai W website. Does it hold DSLR with grip as well as lens and what max length of lens?

A: If you are referring to using/inserting a camera into the removable padded camera insert included with the Manhattan Portage Red Label Snapshot Camera Backpack, no, a camera with a built-in grip or an external battery grip would not be recommended for use with this case. I would recommend a lens with a maximum length of 5.5 inches to 6 inches (13.97 cm to 22.86 cm) maximum for use with this case and the padded camera insert.
