Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this bag fit a Canon 7D MKll with 100-400 Canon lens without expanding the bottom?

A: Yes this bag can accommodate the Canon 7D Mark II with an EF 100-400mm lens without expansion.

Q: 2. How is the camera suspended in this bag? Or does it just rest on the lens or lens hood.

A: There is padding on the inside which suspends the camera within the bag.

Q: 3. Will it fit Nikon z9 with Nikon z 600mm f6.3 pf lens?

A: No, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens and the Nikon Z9, won't fit.

Q: 4. Will this fit Canon 5d MIII + Canon 1.4x + Canon 100-400 w/o the extension?

A: It would be so tight a fit to get any Canon 5D series DSLR camera attached to both a 1.4X extender/teleconverter and any version of the Canon EF 100-400mm into the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 AW Convertible Camera Bag that we cannot guarantee it. However, if you leave the top zippered pocket empty and do not leave the lens hood attached -- not even backward -- then it may fit to your satisfaction. Preferences can vary in that regard, and it will be very close and tight for sure. So close, in fact, that even typical small variances in the bag's manufacturing could render the holster pack impossible to zip shut, which is why a definitive general answer cannot be given. But if you extend the bottom of the bag then it'll fit without any issue whatsoever -- even with the lens hood attached and the top zippered pocket having small items in it. We also offer 30 days to return this bag with all packaging materials if it doesn't fit to your satisfaction. Details: https://bhpho.to/3wZYOAe

Q: 5. Hi there! Is this bag rigid when the bottom is extended? Will it stand on its own or will the extension collapse? Thank you!

A: The extension is not rigid and will not hold the weight of the case.

Q: 6. Do you think it will fit a Sony A99M2 with 70-400mm G2 and hood mounted in shooting position?

A: Yes, the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 AW Convertible Camera Bag (Black) will hold the Sony Alpha a99 II DSLR Camera with the Sony 70-400mm f/4-5.6 G SSM II Lens with the hood reversed.

Q: 7. When the bag is fully extended, what is the length?

A: It measures approximately 17 1/4" at full extension. :)

Q: 8. Can the lens hood on the RF 100-500mm lens stay in shooting position when attached to Canon R6 in this holster?

A: Yes, it is possible to store the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens mounted on the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Camera with the hood facing forward in the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 AW Convertible Camera Bag (Black), but only when the bottom extension of the bag is expanded.

Q: 9. I see a lot of questions on lens sizes fitting but don't see any Sony 200-600 questions. Would this fit my Sony a7 iv with 200-600mm?

A: Unfortunately, the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 AW Convertible Camera Bag cannot accommodate the Sony A7 IV equipped with the Sony FE 200-600mm Lens.

Q: 10. Will a Canon 7D MkII and BG-E16 battery grip with a Canon 100-400 II Lens fit with the hood in shooting position?

A: Yes, a Canon 7D Mark II equipped with a Canon BG-E16 Battery Grip and a Canon EF 100-400mm II Lens can fit into the ProTactic TLZ 75 AW Convertible Camera Bag.

I swapped two smaller Pelican case for this bag and it works very well as a travel case.

I have been able to fit a GH5 with 18-35mm lens, a GH4 with 12-35mm lens, headset, wireless audio gear, a Mavic 2 Pro and smart remote controller, an Edelkrone slider, battery chargers, a MacBook Pro, and a ton of accessories -- all at once, mind you. As far as weight goes, it's not bad to carry either.

One major downside I found is the main zippers have no ability to place a lock on them, meaning your gear is unsecured as you travel. This is a huge oversight and should have been thought of in R&D. Oh well. Just don't leave your stuff with shady people...Or place this bag in a giant Pelican case and lock it up. Haha...

I ordered this to use traveling to protect my camera. It is HUGE! It is larger than I thought with plenty of space for my non photo stuff! The bag itself looks to be sturdy construction with great zippers. Can’t wait for our first adventure

It fits all my lenses and my cameras and it’s very comfortable to wear! I wore it for 5 hours on a hike and forgot it was even there. The weight is distributed perfectly! Best bag I have ever owned!!

I've had this pack for about two years now and wanted to wait until I really put it through the paces to writer a review.

Like many others, I have a basement full of packs which have either not served the purpose (a landscape photographer who scrambles all over the woods and shoreline) or I've outgrown due to gear. The Rugged 75 serves both purposes wonderfully.

Tons of room in this pack - I have a Canon 5Ds with battery grip, 7 lenses, flash, filters, and various other items comfortably in the pack. It's built like a tank. I've banged this thing over and over and gear is fully protected. I like the full-size shoulder straps and hip belt - not wimpy like other packs. It also nicely handles a tripod and ball head. Lots of little pockets to stow away small things as well.

If you're looking for a pack that can haul all your gear, the kitchen sink...and maybe even the living room...this is your best choice.
