A: The Lo or HI setting is selected based on the camera/lens/accessory payload. LO is 3.5 /1,5 kg to 29 lb / 13.1 kg. HO is 16 lb / 7.7 to 42.5 lb to 19.3 kg. There is overlap. Select an appropriate setting. Once you do that, then you have 16 steps of counterbalance.
