Kodak 4 x 4" #9 Deep Yellow Wratten 2 Optical Filter is an industry-standard filter that just got better. With the same spectral response and color as current Wratten Gelatin Filters, Kodak Wratten 2 Optical Filters offer several improvements.

Slightly stronger than a #8, this filter is commonly used for an even more noticeable increase in contrast with black and white films. It is especially useful for clear contrast between blue sky with clouds and foreground. It is also suitable for landscapes and nature scenes.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it mount/use with godox ad300

A: No, the Westcott Optical Spot by Lindsay Adler for Bowens does not fit on the Godox AD300. However, it does fit on the Godox AD400.

Q: 2. I have intentions to use this with the 400js and also the Amaran 200d which is rated at 200W COB. Would I be able to use this safely on the Amaran 200d at 50% for continuous light use safely and without affecting warranty, or does adjusting brightness not change the Watt output? Thank you

A: Yes, teh following unit will accommodate strobes up to 600Ws, LEDs to 100W.

Q: 3. will this work on a SmallHD 502 or 503?

A: Unfortunately no, it is only compatible with the monitors listed in the description.

Q: 4. Is there some kind of cover for the eyepiece available for this? Have already sun-burned one screen panel

A: Unfortunately, an eyepiece cover isn't officially manufactured for the Kinotehnik LCDVF 5.2 Optical Viewfinder (Shinobi, Ninja V/V+, BM5, LH5H). There is a 46mm thread for diopters within the viewfinder, and that may be an avenue to experiment with by using a 46mm cap. The Sensei 46mm Screw-In Metal Lens Cap BH #SELCM46 is an example. Q: 5. is there an option to mount RF canon lens ?

A: No. The following unit is designed and made around the 150mm f/3.5, Canon EF-Mount.

Q: 6. is it compatible with Paul C buff?

A: Yes, The system is designed based on a Balcar mounting systyem that covers White Lighting, Einstein and Alien Bee models.

Q: 7. Can I use my Godox DP1000III Professional Studio Flash with this accessory?

A: Officially, the Westcott Optical Spot by Lindsay Adler for Bowens (B&H# WEOSLABWNS) says it's for studio strobes up to 600W/s and LED lights up to 100W. The major concern is the amount of heat that is generated inside of this tight-fitting modifier. Having said that, as long as you are not using the incandescent bulb of the Godox DP1000III Professional Studio Flash (B&H# GODP1000III) and you don't use the strobe in a way that results in a buildup of heat then the heat won't be a concern. Please keep in mind that using this in a way that's not consistent with the manufacturer's specifications might void the warranty.

Q: 8. Westcott says this modifier is not to be used with a strobe's modeling light on. It is understandable that leaving a 250 watt modeling light on inside this modifier's closed structure would be dangerously hot, but would it be unwise to use a 250 watt modeling light **even briefly** for the purpose of aiming the focused spot?? It I were to buy this I would want to be able to use my modeling light at least briefly to be able to aim the small focused spot of light on the small products I shoot.

A: Following unit adapt to any Bowens mount system.

Q: 9. Can you mount/use the Bowens version on an Aperture 300 D ?

A: Yes, The following system ill mount to the aperture 300D.

Q: 10. Could use a canon ef to rf adapter to use Canon RF lenses?

A: Yes. If a end-user really would like to they could.
