A: They are about 5mm thick which is about the same as a standard UV filter ring.

A: Yes, these Sensei step-up rings are compatible with Tiffen ND. I use 77mm Tiffen ND and use multiple of these rings with my different Canon and Panasonic lenses. I had bought both the Tiffen ND and Sensei rings from B&H and they work perfectly fine on my shoots.

A: Not in my case it doesn't presented any vignetting when I use it.

A: Heliopan does not list the pitch on the Heliopan 42-39mm Step-Down Ring (#316). But standard for that size is 0.75mm thread pitch.

Q: 8. I am thinking about purchasing an 82 mm neutral density filter. Is a step-down ring what I need to allow me to use this filter on my 77 mm lenses? Looking at the 82-77 step-down ring (#408) by Heliopan. Thanks!

A: There are many individual step-up rings made of brass, but there are no sets of brass step-up rings like the Nisha Step-Up Ring Set (Set of 8).

A step up (no pun intended) from the least expensive step-up ring that B&H offers, which I purchased and returned, but worlds apart in terms of craftsmanship and still a bargain for the price. Using on a Lumix 45-200mm lens with 58mm Bower variable ND filter. Smooth off and on. Snug fit. Solid build. No need to shell out more $$s for an uppity brand. Perfectly satisfied. 5

I have a Canon Rebel T7-18-55mm lens and all my new filters are 58mm. Now I can use my old Kodak 80-210mm zoom lens with my new Ice Filter (Light Pollution Filter) for Night Time Photography. This little ring just saved me a lot of money. 5

I'm use for 7artisan 55 mm v2 with this ring my 58 mm voigtlander metal hood are perfect size (82 mm focal lens) very tight balance on my lens does snug fit nicely.I recommend this product. 5

I bought the step-up ring to have access to some archaic filters from an old Minolta that's gathering dust in my closet. I don't know that I'll use them, but for $ how can I go wrong?Unlike the Coken adapters which are often frustrating to install on my lenses, this glides onto my 52mm lenses like they were soaked in butter fat without the mess. The only downside of the step-up ring, unfortunately, was that the winning lottery ticket numbers were not engraved on the ring. 5

Bought this for use with a Canon EOS-M and 22mm lens. It works fine with a 49mm B&W polarizer. Quality is more than adequate, especially at this price. 5

Makes it really nice to be able to carry one set of filters around verse 2 sets. The only mistake I made was not ordering a 58mm lens cap to go with this ring. 5
