Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.
Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will these work on a D7200 ?
A: I use them on my D7200 and they are great. They should be fine on virtually any F-Mount DSLR.
Q: 2. How is the image quality using those Extention Tubes vs a micro lens? In other words, does the tube degrade image quality vs bare lens?
A: A real macro lens has some advantages over a "standard lens" and extension tubes. If your subject is perfectly flat (a postage stamp, for instance), a real macro lens (one designed to focus 1:1 scale or close to it) will be sharper in the corners. If the subject has depth (like probably 99% of the stuff you take pictures of with a macro lens), then you NEVER have enough depth-of-focus. If you want even a few millimeters of the subject in focus at 1:1 scale, you need to set the lens to a REALLY small aperture. My Nikon macro lenses have an f32 setting. Most standard lenses can only stop down to f16. f32 is a big advantage. Using an extension tube to increase magnification just increases your need to use smaller and smaller apertures to keep anything in focus. BUT... a 50mm to 100mm prime lens and ext. tubes is still a great way to get high-magnification shots. You would have to take a lot of close-up images to justify the difference in cost between tubes and a real 105mm macro lens. I would certainly just use tubes and a 50mm lens while saving up for a 105mm macro. Don't waste your money on a macro shorter than 100mm. The extra subject to lens distance you get with 100+mm focal length is really important to good subject lighting, among many other things.
Q: 3. Just purchased these and am having an issue getting any image. Using the panasonic 12-35mm, i have used one and both extension tubes and still only get a blurry image of light. I've gotten very close (cm close) to an object with a tripod and have slowly backed away to test the range and still get nothing. i have used mostly manual focus but have also tried auto, and both do not change the blur that I am getting. has anyone else had this issue?
A: An extension tube increases lens magnification by an amount equal to the extension distance divided by the lens focal length plus the native magnification of the lens. If you are using both Vello tubes at 12mm, that is 26mm divided by 12 mm for a 2.17 magnification. Add the native magnification of .17 and you are at 2.34X. The minimum focus distance will be 57.2mm from you sensor. That is very close. Try a longer focal length or only the smaller tube at 35mm.Here is a great link to calculate the result of extension tubes:http://bit.ly/1UYQDzw
Q: 4. Are these extension tubes fully compatible with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300 lens?
A: Yes. I have used these extension tubes with my 28-300 many times with very good results.
Q: 5. Will this work with my Sony A7rii and 16 - 35 mm lens?
A: No they wont. The A7 series lenses are E-Mount, and these tubes are for the A-Mount lenses.I would like to add that if you can find these tubes for E- Mounted lenses, Id recommend that you get them. Ive got no complaints at all with my A-Mount set....
Q: 6. Would RRS Ascend 14L legs and an Aratech GP Ballhead make for a combo? Would head fit to platform well? Could the combo handle a Nikon D500 w/ 500 F5.6 PF lens easily? What might be the upper limit of lenses for this combination?
A: Yes this would be a great combo, the head would fit to the platform well, it could easily handle a D500 with 500mm PF, and the largest lens that you could safely hold according to the specs would be almost any of them!
Q: 7. I have a 100 mm macro lens and want to use these extension tubes with it. Is the seal between THE TUB AND THE LENS secure and tightly fitted? Another set I have is loose and I cannot use it for fear of lens falling off..This probably applies to other lens also and not just the 100 mm macro.. Thank you.
A: I'm using a set of Kenko Extension tubes with a 100mm 2,8L lens and its not loose at all.
Q: 8. Can you remove the integrated ballhead and purchase a platform separately (if so, which one?) to use with a BH30?
A: An integrated ball head is not included with the purchase of the Really Right Stuff Ascend-14 Long Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod. The Really Right Stuff Ascend-14 Long Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod would be the tripod legs only; a ball head (or other tripod head) would have to be purchased as a separate accessory.
Q: 9. Will these tubes work on D810 with Zeiss milvus macro or Zeiss 135mm f/2?
A: i do have an 810 but i never use with it i use with my d3s 700 and 7000 i know that it work with fix lens and zoom auto focus and most nikon camera it a good buy for me works great make sure you understanding how to use it .youtube.
Q: 10. Can this tripod be used both with and without the center column. If so what else would needed for use without center column?
A: The Really Right Stuff Ascend-14 Long Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod can only be used with a center column. It does not need to be raised, but it needs to be in the tripod.
