Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.
Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Q: 1. work with d7100?
A: I am using it with a D750. It will work as well on a D7100 without any problem.
Q: 2. How is the image quality using those Extention Tubes vs a micro lens? In other words, does the tube degrade image quality vs bare lens?
A: A real macro lens has some advantages over a "standard lens" and extension tubes. If your subject is perfectly flat (a postage stamp, for instance), a real macro lens (one designed to focus 1:1 scale or close to it) will be sharper in the corners. If the subject has depth (like probably 99% of the stuff you take pictures of with a macro lens), then you NEVER have enough depth-of-focus. If you want even a few millimeters of the subject in focus at 1:1 scale, you need to set the lens to a REALLY small aperture. My Nikon macro lenses have an f32 setting. Most standard lenses can only stop down to f16. f32 is a big advantage. Using an extension tube to increase magnification just increases your need to use smaller and smaller apertures to keep anything in focus. BUT... a 50mm to 100mm prime lens and ext. tubes is still a great way to get high-magnification shots. You would have to take a lot of close-up images to justify the difference in cost between tubes and a real 105mm macro lens. I would certainly just use tubes and a 50mm lens while saving up for a 105mm macro. Don't waste your money on a macro shorter than 100mm. The extra subject to lens distance you get with 100+mm focal length is really important to good subject lighting, among many other things.
Q: 3. Will these work on a D7200 ?
A: I use them on my D7200 and they are great. They should be fine on virtually any F-Mount DSLR.
Q: 4. Can this tripod be used both with and without the center column. If so what else would needed for use without center column?
A: The Really Right Stuff Ascend-14 Long Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod can only be used with a center column. It does not need to be raised, but it needs to be in the tripod.
Q: 5. Is this extension tube compatible with canon 5D mark II to use it with my EF-S Lenses?
A: I didn't test it myself (I only have an APS-C 60D) but I remember having read somewhere that several people do use the small or medium extension tube to fit their EF-S lenses onto a full-frame body.
Q: 6. Will it fit panasonic lumix g7?
A: The Vello EXT-MFTD2 Auto Extension Tube Set for Micro 4/3 Mounts and Lenses will fit on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera.
Q: 7. Will this work with AF-P lenses?

Q: 8. Do these extensions tube work with a Canon Rebel T3?
A: I have a Canon EOS Rebel T2i DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens, and the Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Canon EOS Lenses works fine with it.
Q: 9. Does this only work for Nikon DX lenses? How about the FX lenses?
A: These tubes are compatible with all Nikon F type lenses (both FX and DX). The overview merely went out of the way to alert DX lens users that they can also take advantage of the tube set as well.
Q: 10. Im a birding photographer and looking for a travel tripod..How well would this tripod work with a Wimberley 200 + Nikon Z9 + 1.4 ext + 500 MM F4 FL ED VR lens, about 15lbs? Any other recommendations?
A: The Really Right Stuff Ascend-14 Long Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod will not support the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens with the Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-14E III, and ZTZ adapter on the Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Tripod Head. You need a series 3 tripod for your gear. The Really Right Stuff TVC-34L Versa Series 3 Mk2 Carbon Fiber Tripod, BH #RETVC34LMK2, is an excellent option. The TVC-34L weighs only one more pound than the Ascend-14.
