Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this converter work with the Tamron 150 - 600mm ?

A: Sigmas teleconverters are only compatible with a select number of Sigmas pro-level telephoto lenses. They are not compatible with lenses from other manufacturers. So, the TC-2001 will not be compatible with the Tamron 150-600mm lens. You could look at the Tamron 2x AF Teleconverter for Nikon. Keep in mind, though, you will lose autofocus.

Q: 2. Is this 2x teleconverter compatible with Nikon 850 and Sigma 150-500 mm lens? Will autofocus work at f6.3?

A: I'm sorry it is not compatible with that lens and in order to get AF, the lens must be f/4 or faster.

Q: 3. is this compatible with Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 ?

A: Hi, this teleconverter is only compatible with the lenses on the compatibility list--the 70-300mm lens is not on the list.

Q: 4. Does it work with Nikon 80-200?

A: Unfortunately this teleconverter is not compatible with the Nikon 80-200.

Q: 5. I have an original 120-300 f2.8, probably the first version of that lens. Do you know if this teleconverter (or even the 1.4) will work on this old lens?

A: The Sigma TC-2001 2x Teleconverter for Nikon F would only be compatible for use with the current Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports Lens for Nikon F. It would not be compatible for use with the original Sigma APO 120-300mm F2.8 EX IF HSM Lens, the Sigma APO 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG HSM Lens, or the Sigma APO 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM Lens. The correct teleconverter for the older 120-300mm lens was the Sigma APO Teleconverter 2x EX DG for Nikon F, B&H # SI2XDGNAF • MFR # 876306, which has unfortunately been discontinued and is no longer available. If you are looking for a third-party option that would be compatible for your usage needs, the Kenko TELEPLUS HD DGX 2x Teleconverter for Nikon F-Mount G/E Type Lenses, B&H # KEKTPHD2.0N, may also work as an alternative for your usage needs.

Q: 6. I have the newest 120-300 on a Nikon D5, in reading Sigma's website, it says it will AF to F8, not down to F8. Does this mean it will AF from F8 to smaller apertures or only from F5.6 to F8?

A: The converter will allow AF with a maximum f/number of f/8 or lower. So, if the combined aperture of the TC and lens is f/8, f/5.6, f/4 etc. the camera body will AF. If the combined aperture is greater then f/8 (f/11, f/16 etc) then the body will not AF. However, you can always use Live View to get the lens/camera to AF if the aperture is greater than f/8

Q: 7. I have a Sigma 70-200 2.8 for my Canon Mark III - which one do I need to buy? The one that’s for Canon or Sigma?

A: The one that is for Canon.

Q: 8. will it work with sigma 18-300?

A: No, this is designed to only work with a specific set of lenses. The teleconverter is only compatible with the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 Sports Lens, Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Sports Lens and the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens. There is no teleconverter from sigma that will be compatible with your current lens.

Q: 9. will this work with a Nikon FTZ converter?

A: As long as you are using the Sigma TC-2001 2x Teleconverter for Nikon F on a lens designed for this teleconverter, yes, your lens/teleconverter combination would be compatible for use on the Nikon FTZ Lens Mount Adapter.

Q: 10. I have the Sigma 150-500 lens, bought in 2013. Will this teleconverter wirk with a lens thst old?

A: The Sigma TC-2001 2x Teleconverter for Nikon F is not compatible with the Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM Lens for Nikon F Mount.
