Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the aperture control work with the $44.95 fotodiox extension tubes?

A: Yes it does, but as the previous answer indicates, attaching the are very clumsy.

Q: 2. Does it retain IS function?

A: I do not know. It appears to, but I use the extension tubes on the tripod most of the time due to the shallow depth of field.

Q: 3. If I use this with my Sony 90mm Macro will I get greater magnification with it?

A: Yes Vello EXT-SFED2 Auto Focus Extension Tubes for Sony E-Mount Lenses is compatible with the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS Lens and it will increase the magnification. The new magnification will be 1.29x

Q: 4. does it work for nikon d5300 with 67mm ?

A: Yes this will work with your Nikon D5300 and if front element element is 67mm then it can fit a 67mm filter.

Q: 5. In one comment it says the Nikon version does not pass exposure info to teh camera. Is that correct?

A: From my experience it depends on the lens the extension tubes are being used with. They do work fine and pass all data for exposure and focus if the right lenses are used. So it is a matter of lenses working correctly rather than Nikon camera bodies. I bekieve you will always find that some lenses work better with extension tubes than others. These tubes work fantastic with the Nikon D7100 and Tamron 70 - 200 macro combination.

Q: 6. Does this work with canon 24-105mm or 50mm 1.8?

A: I only tried to put it on the 100mm lens and it didn't fit, so I retuned it and bought the canon model do $84, it works great. My advice is to go with the quality product.

Q: 7. Will these work on a D850?

A: It will work with any combination of camera and lens with standard Nikon mount. So Nikon D850 will work with these extension tubes.

Q: 8. Can I use F16, 22, 32 with these tubes. If not what would be the limit, if any?

A: You mean small apertures? Of course, why not? These are merely extension tubes, meaning they're full of nothing but air... All electrical connections are passed on to your lens. Their purpose is to move your lens away from your sensor, adding a magnification ratio which depends on your lens, focal, and distance to subject. Search the web and you'll find plenty of calculations about the actual magnification ratios you can achieve with your lenses. I do not regret buying these cheap but efficient extension tubes.

Q: 9. I have a Tamron 18-270 lens which I use with my Nikon D5000 camera. Would these extension tubes be compatible with the Tamron lens? I'm thinking they would be, but just want to make sure before ordering.

A: Yes, the Vello Auto Extension Tube Set for Nikon would be compatible with the Tamron AF18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD AF Lens for Nikon.

Q: 10. Will these tubes work with an AF-P lens (like the AF-P 70-300 FX)? What about an E-type (electronic aperture) lens, like the AF-S 16-80?

A: These extension tubes are only compatible with AF-S lenses or older.
