The FSR IT-VCM Stereo Audio Volume Control Module regulates the volume of an audio component remotely. The IT-VCM can be controlled via RS-232 commands, remote switches or a remote potentiometer.

The module, powered from a standard 12VDC power supply (purchased separately), features an input gain switch to bring consumer components up to professional audio levels. It may be used effectively on integrated amplifiers especially those manufactured without a remote control. By "daisy chaining" several modules it is possible to change the volume of a single source in different rooms individually. The IT-VCM is rack-mountable.

Q: 1. Does the meter wirelessly transmit to Westcott FJ400 Strobes?

A: No, Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter only comes with the module to connect and control Broncolor, Godox, Elinchrom and Phottix. You will need Westcott triggers and Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter for your Westcott FJ400 Strobes

Q: 2. When using the reflective metering on the Sekonic 858D, does anybody notice any fuzziness, or slightly out of focus appearance in the image when looking through the lenses to do the spot metering?

A: Once adjusted the spot meter is cristall clear. Bear in mind that it might take quite a few turns of the diopter ring (eye side) to accomplish sharp view.

Q: 3. Is there a color meter option included?

A: Unfortunately, this meter is strictly for exposure readings. Sekonic does offer their C-800 SpectroMaster Color Meter, BH # SEC800SM which offers color readings. https://bhpho.to/39ZV5dI

Q: 4. This meter works with profoto b10 plus lights...? Thanks

A: You can use it with a B10, but it will not have direct control of the light.

Q: 5. When using the flash in hss mode at a certain power output level for example at 1/2 power lever, then if i press the test flash button from trigger and measure with seconic light metre, the meter will show the camera setting for 1/2 power flash output in normal setting but not in hss mode. but power of a flash is normally lower in hss mode than in normal mode. with the transmiter of this seconic light meter, if we press the test button can it give us the correct camera setting in hss mode or we have make a test shot from the camera?

A: According to Sekonic, they state that when measuring HSS output, the camera has to be test-fired, meaning you have to press the shutter button on the camera (or use a remote release to trigger the shutter). Using the [TEST] button on the flash will not work when attempting to record HSS output for exposure purposes.

Q: 6. Is this meter compatible with Profoto D2 Strobes with the pocket wizard III attached to the strobes. The meter will also be equipped with a pocket wizard module transmitter.

A: This meter can trigger any strobe that is equipped with an internal/external Pocket Wizard Transceiver.

Q: 7. Can 858 compatible with canon 600 exrt and yongnuo 600 exrt?

A: The 858D U is compatible IT will measure the flash from any flash. sync cord or wireless. This Meter is fantastic, For stills and video and it's a game changer for very low light. It has got more features than you will use if you only do stills. For what it can do to change your photography, it's totally worth it.I got a great deal by buying from B&H than from anywhere in Australia. I checked everywhere first. Wish you well.

Q: 8. How often should it be calibrated?

A: Sekonic does not list a time frame to have the Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter calibrated. If you see that the meter is off you need to contact Sekonic on that. Is the USA it is, https://bit.ly/3nSVZiF

Q: 9. Does any light meter take into account an APS-C sensor in its readings?
