Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. When I order, do I specify MM DIAMETER - that doesnt seem to be requested?

A: You will need the correct camera mount to suit your camera and lenses. The extension tubes are pre-set but can be disconnected into 2 separate units, or used together. As they increase the distance between the camera and the rear of the lens, the image is magnified on the sensor. They are good to experiment with as it opens up a new dimension in photographing small to minute subjects. Enjoy.

Q: 2. I just received the Vello Auto Extension Tube Set for Nikon. I have a D90 camera, and I'm using a Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 35 mm 1:1.8k G lens. I tried using the 12mm extension tube and see nothing through the view finder. I tried it outside with plenty of sunshine, and yes, the lens cap was off, but I still didn't see anything. Also, I know you can't set the aperture with the tubes, so can I still shoot in manual or do I need AUTO?

A: Everything should work fine with what you have. Since this is a Auto version and not the Manual version, you can control the aperture of the lens with the tubes in place. Be sure that that on the camera, the aperture is open all the way. While the image will be dimmer than without the tubes, you should see clearly enough. If you still have an issue, please email us with your experience. prophoto@bhphoto.com.

Q: 3. if 36mm extension tube is used with Nikon AF-S 300mm F/4 PF ED VR what is image size and min. focus distance?

A: When using the 36mm tube from the Vello Auto Extension Tube Set for Nikon F on the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens, the maximum reproduction ratio is 1:2.5, and the close focus distance is 1.1 m.

Q: 4. What is min. focus distance & image size using Nikon 300mm F/4 PF with TC-14E III Teleconverter & 36mm tube on D850 & D7200?

A: Using the 36mm tube the minimum focus for the 300mm Nikon PF lens would be 1.1m.

Q: 5. Are these for full frame as well, or only for APS-C?

A: These Vello Auto Extension tubes can work with both FX and DX Nikon Z mount cameras.

Q: 6. I just bought these tubes for my Nikon D7100. I cannot set the Aperture with these tubes. I'll adjust my camera to F/11 and the aperture remains wide open at F/3.5. You can see the aperture not move while you scroll the aperture adjustment wheel. Could it just be I have a defective set???

A: The aperture does not move when you scroll, it opens or closes only when a photo is taken. You may test this by setting the aperture first to f/22, which should give you a fairly dark image. Then, try setting the aperture to f/5.6, which should produce a much lighter image. If you are still having this problem, please email us at askbh@bhphotovideo.com so we can provide better assistance.

Q: 7. Will these tubes allow a one to one copy ratio...., that is, can I copy slides with the digital camera, full frame to full frame?

A: Yes, with these extension tubes you can depending on the lens get over 1:1 magnification.

Q: 8. can I put in on canon RF100mm Macro lens ?

A: The FotodioX 35mm Pro Automatic Macro Extension Tube for Canon RF-Mount is compatible with Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM.

Q: 9. Does it fit canon eos 550d?

A: Accoring to Gogole, the Canon 550D is the US Rebel T2i. This takes the EF and EF-s lens mount sizes. Yes, it will fir your camera.

Q: 10. Do these also function to increase the zoom on the telephoto end of a Zuiko 12-45 Pro?

A: The Vello EXT-MFTD2 Auto Extension Tube Set for Micro 4/3 Mounts and Lenses does not increase the zoom range of a lens. Extension tubes will allow a lens to focus at a closer distance.
