A: 13mm is currently the shortest available.

Q: 2. I just bought these tubes for my Nikon D7100. I cannot set the Aperture with these tubes. I'll adjust my camera to F/11 and the aperture remains wide open at F/3.5. You can see the aperture not move while you scroll the aperture adjustment wheel. Could it just be I have a defective set???

A: The aperture does not move when you scroll, it opens or closes only when a photo is taken. You may test this by setting the aperture first to f/22, which should give you a fairly dark image. Then, try setting the aperture to f/5.6, which should produce a much lighter image. Q: 3. How well will these work with a Fuji 16-80mm XF f4 lens? Could I get really close and crisp? Like say the face of a Bee?

A: The minimum focusing distance on the XF 16-80mm f/4 Lens is 1.15 ft from the subject. By adding both extension tubes to the lenses, you can get very close. However, this would be trial and error.

A: Yes this will work with your Nikon D5300 and if front element element is 67mm then it can fit a 67mm filter.

A: The V2 isn't referring to the F-mount, but the version of the extension tubes. The V2 (version 2) of the Nikon F-mount extension tubes seems to be a slightly newer design, and might potentially have slightly better electronics.

Q: 8. can these tubes be used with tele-photo lenses or does it have to a prime lens???

A: Yes... They work great. I use them with a Nikon 135mm f2 DC lens on a Nikon D800e for flowers. This lens has suburb bokeh but does not focus closely enough for flower portraits. Also the Nikon versions are manual only and do not supply exposure information to the camera.
