Support your underwater flash with this DELTA 3 Strobe Arm Kit with 8" Double-Ball Sections from Aquatica's Technical Lighting Control series. This 3-segment arm is designed to be mounted onto the grip handle of an Aquatica underwater camera housing. In addition to the two 8" double-ball segments, it features a 4" lower segment with a T-base, which requires T-style bracket #77550 or an equivalent part. The kit also includes three ball clamps for connecting the parts of the arm and attaching a strobe via the required ball head adapter.
Aquatica's DELTA 3 arm offers highly flexible support for your strobe, enabling different lighting angles and positions. This 8" version affords optimal versatility, allowing you to extend the arm to cover wide-angle shots and bend it inward to illuminate close-ups. Each arm segment also has a threaded 1/4"-20 hole on its side for the attachment of various accessories.
Engineered to withstand the elements for many years, the components in this kit are crafted from an aluminum alloy that's been hard-anodized for exceptional resistance to corrosion. Additionally, the items have been treated with Teflon to make them even more durable, ensuring that they will survive the toughest aquatic environments the world has to offer.

Q: 2. I have used this head for about three years. Now, the screw on the plate that clamps the foot on the camera will NOT screw in far enough to hold the foot on the camera lens. I have removed the screw, oiled it, and tried many times. I can physically push the clamp plate all the way in, so the springs are not in the way. How can I fix this so I can use this head again?
A: Is there any damage on the screw threads? That might be preventing it from going in all the way.

Q: 7. It says that you need an Arca-Swiss plate to use with it. I will be using an Oben ac-1410 tripod. Can you refer me to what plate would be best to order?
A: Depending on the telephoto lens that you are using, different lengths of Arca-Swiss plates will be appropriate to attach. The following chart will show you which Wimberly (another maker of gimbal heads that use Arca-Swiss releases) plate will support your lens best. Just type in the model number of the specific plate into our search bar. (example: P10 plate)http://bhpho.to/1aJndNaorClick the link in the description of this product:B&H # WITHQRQ ? Mfr # WH-200
Q: 8. I want to use this with the Canon 100-400 IS I. Do I need an extra less Plate? If so which one would you recommend?
A: Hi There,Yes, you will need an ARCA Swiss plate for this Gimble. Now, this is a good question what kind of plate you need and I can not specifically tell you since I have no such lens to try on my gimble. But I can give you some guidelines:You have a tripod leg for that lens and it has its size. I also assume that it is a fairly short leg with only one screw mount in it.Now, if you are looking for the aesthetic point of view you might be considering an ARCA plate with same length like your lens leg, but if you want to be able to play with the balance fo the camera + Lens in the gimble, I recommend you to buy a little longer plate. This will allow you to slide the plate on the gimple to find the balance position . A balance position is a position where the camera mounted on the gimble is staying balanced hands free . I know it doesn't sounds like a big deal but believe me it is more than just a nice to have .Another important point is that the plate will have the limiters both sides. Those limiters are small screws that are stopping the plate to slide off the gimble (look at the gimble image - where you put the plate - it has like two canals, one in each side). Now the next question is which plate brand should you buy. for this I have no sharp answer. I think that the brand is less important here unless it is really cheap and you fill like it is going to be unsafe to use.I have bought the below P50 plate but it was for a much bigger lens with much bigger leg.You can also see in that one that there is a screw hole at the end of the plate for the stopper/limmiter.And also make sure you are using the correct thread for your lens (1/4 or 3/8 ). if needed buy also an adapter.Hope it helps.Enjoy,Guy
Q: 9. How stiff is the flexible arm?
A: Very stiff. So stiff that the first thing I did was try to reposition by holding the clamp and the clamp snapped right at the drill hole in the handle. So important to note you can only position by holding the arm by itself. This is a great product but the clamp is the weak point. BTW the clamp just bolts on so I just got a metal one at home depot for 2.99 and switched it out. After boring a hole in seconds handle and breaking that sibe off to.
Q: 10. What is the weight capacity?
A: The Kondor Blue 5.5" Cine Magic Arm with Double Ball Heads (3/8"-16 ARRI, Raven Black) has a weight capacity of 25lbs per ball joint.
