Expanding on their line of panels, the Plus Series LED1000 Daylight LED Light Panel from Dracast adds a digital display for adjusting output as well as Cat 5 DMX input and output for linking and comes with both Gold mount and V-mount battery plates. The light features 1024 LEDs with a high CRI of 95 for excellent color accuracy. Also, this model has a daylight-balanced color temperature of 5600K for matching with natural light and other fixtures.

The lights offer a spot beam angle of 45°, as well as dimming from 0-100%. Benefiting operation, it can run from either a DC source, such as a Gold mount or V-mount battery, or a universal 100-240 VAC adapter. The light is durable as well, with an aluminum chassis, frame, and mounting yoke, and it only consumes 60W of power. Additionally, it is lightweight at just 5.5 lb and measures 12 x 12 x 2" in size.

A: Hi Eric,Well, to be quite honest, i don't think any LED lights in this price range can compete with the sun. Only big HMI's will give you enough light to go head to head with the sun. But after using it a few times outside, i must say that it outputs a pretty decent amount of light and you can achieve good results... as long as you can filter the sun around you with scrims and other techniques. Again, it will not overshadow the sun but it will be very handful to bring decent light to your subjects. Bottom line Eric, if your need to match the sun, then you have to go for a bigger light like an HMI. :)

Q: 6. Does it come with an XLR?

A: I cannot answer that question directly, having no experience in actuatlly taking photographs with our lights, as opposed to just knowing how they work. However, I can tell you that at six feet, a daylight LED500 should be able to produce 1550 Lux, or 144 Fc. I purchased the Dracast LED1000 because I was looking for a portable, easy to handle, LED panel that put out a lot of throw even in day-light conditions. The V-mount and gold-mount battery plates are handy since I use both. I am very happy with the quality of this light and it has added a great deal of flexibility to my field work. Aside from the lighting capabilities, the entire kit is very well made and durable. This light has helped my efforts, I fully recommend it. 5

I have a little video production company and studio where I do a number of projects. This LED light is perfect for what I do. I love it because it allows me to work for long periods of time without the lights getting hot. It is always cool to the touch, so I never have to worry when I need to move it for the next shot. The light puts out a lot of throw and is color accurate - giving me the lighting quality I need. It is quick and easy to set up and position,quality made and is very convenient and versatile. 5

I've been needing a powerful LED light for when I do my YouTube videos. My old one broke and it didn't give enough light in the room. I did research and finally I found this one, the perfect fit. This LED light last longer than my old one. I like that I can use it outdoors because I've always wanted to record outdoors at times. Since my room is upstairs, I don't have any problem carrying this LED light, it is really light to carry. Another thing I like is it doesn't overheat. So no more burning myself, no more overheated room, and no more smoke coming out from it. I definitely recommend this product to my friends. 5

As a filmmaker I need a certain amount of light otherwise my sequences need to be re-shot. Fortunately I had a friend who recommended me this LED Panel. It's very easy to handle and maneuver which makes shooting anything but difficult. The quality is very excellent and the setup allows for a precise angle so I can capture what I need to. Overall I felt this purchase was more than worth it and I highly recommend this product. 5

I got this light for shooting interviews. It really surpassed my expectations. Great value for the money. It's build quality is also much better than some of the other ones I've seen. I am impressed beyond measure. I was so impressed that I just purchased another one. These are an incredible bang for the buck and are so convenient to use. this light is versatile for any lighting setup. It also features a digital display to tell you the right color temperature every time, so that you don't have the guesswork of using a light meter to test it. After buying this product and being pleased with the results I had to write about my outcome. The Led 100 plus bi color light has proven to be a phenomenal product. Upon receiving my item I immediately inspected the multiple light sources to ensure everything was in working order. The color knob, dimmer knob, and power switch worked well when it came time to performing. My test light setup displayed the led light in the traditional light, medium, and dark. Although most models come with adjustable lighting, this particular brand gave me the perfect view. Interviews that were conducted displayed with no glare and a high resolution. Avoiding the dreaded green cast that can sometimes be seen through interview playbacks due to the lighting being slightly off, was definitely not a problem. Overall I am more than satisfied with my merchandise because of its quality execution. A product that comes highly recommended is sold by Dracast. Which turned out to be a great buy, so far no complaints. 5
