Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Three questions 1)What benefit would I have by using these tubes with a Nikon D5000 and a Macro Nikon Lens 60mm. Would it extend the distance of the Macro lens or increasae magnification. 2)Can I use it with a Tamron DX -70-300mm? 2) Is it fully AF on those two lenses.

A: It will not extend the distance. It will give you more magnification and will shorten the shooting distance. And it will retain autofocus with the Tamron DX -70-300mm and the Nikon 60mm AF-S version on the D5000 But you cannot close down more than 5.6 depending on how many rings you use. Otherwise it will be manual focus. As a note, with macro photography the depth of field is so small that it can work better to manual focus.

Q: 2. What is the overall diameter when collapsed? I need to check compatibility with backpacks and carrying bags.

A: The diameter is slightly under 5''

Q: 3. I have a Nikon D5600 with an AF-P 18-55mm and an AF-P 70-300mm lens. Is this product comparable with my equipment? Thanks.

A: Although these extensions tubes will fit, autofocus is not guarantee with the AF-P series lenses on the D5600.

Q: 4. I do a lot of long exposure photography (i.e. 1 to 2 minutes) with a high megapixel full-frame camera. Would this tripod keep a 70-200mm lens absolutely steady in a moderate wind for long exposures, or should I get the 34L version for more stability?

A: Yes, the Really Right Stuff TVC-24L Series 2 Mk2 Carbon Fiber Tripod should be suitable for your usage needs. The flat pate on the top of the tripod has a hook on the bottom that would allow you to hang your tripod or other ballast such as a sandbag or other weight to increase stability if you will be shooting in windy conditions. You would still need to purchase a tripod head that is strong enough to support the weight of your camera/lens for your planned usage needs.

Q: 5. does it work with the d5200 ?

A: No. These extension tubes are not compatible with any of the Nikon D5000 series cameras.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Nikon D500 and Tamron SP DI -90 mm 1:2.8 Macro 1:1?

A: Yes this extension tube set can work with the Nikon D500 and a Tamron 90mm Macro lens.

Q: 7. What is the height with the last leg section closed?

A: With only the first two sections extended, the RRS TVC-24L extends to 50-5/8" in height.

Q: 8. Wondering if these were compatible with a D5000, using the standard 55-200mm that came with it. Someone mentioned I might have trouble with the auto-focus, metering, etc.. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

A: Yes, these tubes are fully compatible with the Nikon D5000 and your 55-200mm lens and most all other lenses you would want to use with it. The tubes are designed to allow the autofocus to work at distances the camera is designed to focus at, however the benefit of the tubes is to be able to get closer than normal, so in doing so the autofocus sensor of your camera may become confused and hunt for its focus point and never come to focus. As such manual focus is a better route to go with.

Q: 9. Do the legs open out to particular fixed positions and if so how many? ... e.g., three, four?

A: They open to three positions

Q: 10. Will think work with my Nikon Z7 mirrorless camera is I have the FTZ mount adaptor ?

A: Yes, it will work.
