Q: 1. Hi. I own a canon EOS6D. i want to know if this product will fit well with my camera on any lens. i have a 24-105mm zoom lens and a 50mm prime. And is it adjustable to work with any lens?

A: The ring light is LED. It will fit most camera hotshoes including the Canon 6D.The light comes with 8 x Adapter Rings (49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, and 77mm)The 24-105mm lens uses a 77mm filter size, so that will fit and most 50mm lenses use a 52mm or a 58mm filter size so that is fine as well.

Q: 2. compatible with sony a6000?

A: It is compatible with the camera body, as Sony uses TTL with the Hot Shoe. The problem is with attaching the adaptor rings to the lens. The standard lens, Sony E-16-50 mm, only has a filter thread of 40.5mm and will not work. The accessory lens Sony E-55-210mm however has a filter thread of 49mm and work nicely. Bottom line is the filter thread size. The VM-110 LED Macro Ring Light supports 8 thread sizes. Hope this helps.

A: The VM110 Ring Light will work with almost any camera. Just set the unit for continuous illumination, position your lens in the middle of the Ring Light opening, and shoot in auto-exposure mode. The hot shoe mount is for mechanical support of the power pack only, and the lens mounts provided cover most DSLR lens threads, but are not necessary if you shoot through the Ring Light. You can also tilt the camera slightly and shoot off-axis to reduce the flat effect of ring lighting. I have used the VM110 successfully with a Canon point and shoot camera and an iPhone 5s.

Q: 4. Do you have the Minolta/Sony adapter for this ringlight? Will it just slide into the Sony A99 accessory shoe?

A: No adapter is required if you are using the Sony A99 which features the new Sony Multi-Interface shoe (which is different from the older special Sony/Minolta shoe). A: Unfortunately, the Bolt VM-110 is not compatible with the Canon PS S5 IS.

Q: 7. Can this shoot in high-speed synch mode with a D810?

A: It will... but not necessary. This light is not a strobe, per se. A strobe needs to be synchronized with a shutter because of the extremely short duration of the light flash. The VM 110 will work fine with your D810, because the lights are on for longer than the shutter is open. (at high speed). I am oversimplifying this explanation. It will work with your camera. Do not expect it to stop action though. THAT is not what the light is designed for.
