The Dalite 121 x 216" Professional Electrol Motorized Projection Screen can be used in large venues such as stage presentations and auditoriums. It can be installed for either an exposed or recessed application (without the doors traditionally associated with a recessed screen).

The screen comes oiled-for-life  and features an automatic thermal cutoff to prevent burnouts. The braking system is designed to stop the screen in either the "up" or "down" position and prevents "drifting" or "coasting". It includes a three-position Decora style wall switch.

The Professional Electrol can be controlled with Dalite's Video Projector Interface, Single Motor Low Voltage Controller, or Dalite's line of Integrated Screen Control products for more sophisticated control and networking.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used manually? That is like a normal slider without the motorised function.

A: While this is a motorized system you should still be able to use it manually if you so choose.

Q: 2. I work alone recording myself. Can I set the movement to loop repeatedly while I am on camera with no one at the controls?

A: Yes, that will be possible with this product.

Q: 3. Can this accommodate a video pan head like a Manfrotto 502AH? If so what is the thread diameter on the GVM? The 502Ah is a 3/8-16.

A: The Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base is recommended for use with the GVM Professional Brushless 2-Axis Carbon Fiber Motorized Camera Slider (32-) and can attach to a 3/8" 16 thread.

Q: 4. Can this device support angled motorized sliding, and if so, at what angle and what weight?

A: This system will only support a horizontal motorized slide. It cannot slider vertically while motorized, nor is it rated for a tilted slide while motorized.

Q: 5. The previous generation of this slider did not have a memory feature: Does this one have settings memory?

A: GVM does not list a Memory Feature on their website for this slider.

Q: 6. can you use aa batteries as well and the sony np series for extended run time?

A: You can use batteries as well. Not sure about how the batteries operate if they both are in use. I am not sure if one source takes precedence over the other if both are present and attached. I can say this.... The large sony batteries hold up way longer than the thinner batteries. I have not used AA enough to form an opinion.

Q: 7. Is there any video of this product in actual use?

A: There is a few video you can find online.

Q: 8. Just got my slider and noticed on the controller and the manual there is input for DC power. So can this be powered directly without a battery?

A: We are not aware of a compatible wall power supply for the GVM GP-120QD Motorized Carbon Fiber Video Slider (48"), you could try using a L-series dummy battery to provide a connection to a larger power source.

Q: 9. Can this light accept a power adapter? I've seen other models take a 12V 5A supply.

A: You can use this power adapter. B&H # FUACADPTR12V

Q: 10. Does the motor make enough noise to compromise audio for a testimonial interview?

A: If the only using the on-board mic of a camera, it may be an issue. However if the person giving a testimonial is properly mic'd it should not be any issue it at all.
