The cocoa COS-11D-HWM Miniature Omnidirectional Headworn Microphone from Sanken features the same high-quality capsule as the COS-11D built into a durable and stable frame that fits around the ears for hands-free talk. It can be used to capture audio for speech, presentation, recording, lecture, and broadcast applications.

This headworn microphone is equipped with a miniature capsule that yields a wide frequency response. The omnidirectional polar pattern and moisture resistant construction measures just 0.15" in diameter and is hardly visible from a distance.

Furthermore, the microphone's capsule position can be changed to the left or to the right side of the headset, and it also overcomes RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), which makes it impervious to noise and artifacts caused by wireless transmitters, PDAs, cell phones and computers. This makes it ideal for vocal capture in professional situations and keeps background noise to a minimum.

Finally, the COS-11D-HWM Miniature Omnidirectional Headworn Microphone is equipped with a TA5-F connector for use with compatible wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. I'm looking for a solution which will allow me to capture the output signal from an iPad via a lightning hdmi adaptor and then connect the hdmi output to a BMD ATEM TV switcher. Will this device do that reliably?

A: Yes

Q: 2. is there something cheaper that only does scaling/frame rate?

A: Please review the following item Blackmagic Design Mini Converter UpDownCross HD BH #BLMCUDCHD • MFR #CONVMUDCSTD/HD https://bhpho.to/3mXiuSf

Q: 3. Does this Converter gives Best Clean result when converting 1080p60fps to 1080i50fps?? I have black magic pro mixture and any changes in resolution after converted video??

A: Yes, this is a frame rate converter that should allow you to change a video signal from 1080p60 to 1080i50.

Q: 4. Can this item convert 1080i to 1080p and if it does, is there a frame delay. Guessing a couple of frames but not sure?

A: If you input 1080i/60 then output 1080p/30, then there are no no frame drops. Interlaced traces out all the odd lines on the first pass then traces out all the even lines on the second pass, therefore i/60 is essentially the same frame rate as p/30. It has to wait for the first pass of interlaced to finish and start the second pass before it can start outputting the assembled whole frame in progressive scan. Therefore, the delay is at least half of a frame and less than a full frame.

Q: 5. can i convert 1080 50p to 1080 50i?

A: I think you can...you can change to any frame rate... i don’t see why not...

Q: 6. can I convert from 1080i60 to 1080p24?

A: Yes it can. That will be possible with this product.

Q: 7. is this a 4:4:4 , 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 unit?

A: There is no such thing as 4:2:0 baseband video.

Q: 8. Can this convert an HDMI feed from a computer to be accepted by a Atmos Ninja 2?

A: I'm not familiar with the Ninja device, I'd based on my considerable knowledge the MD-HX, the answer is certainly, yes. The MD-HX can cross-convert and scale basically any HDMI or SDI signal into any other HDMI or SDI signal. Additionally, with the new v1.3 firmware, the device can now GENLOCK it's output to an external SDI reference (not the traditional analog black or tri-level, its reference signal must be SDI, like system bars or a switcher AUX out). This new genlock feature greatly adds to the box's versatility. It's really an excellent piece of equipment and great problem solver. I'm a freelance video engineer, and I carry one in my kit.

Q: 9. My Canon 5DIII has clean HDMI output, but if I connect to a DVI input it jumps out of clean HDMI out and mirrors my back screen. Will this device trick the camera to believe it's a normal HDMI that is connected to, while the output used is HDMI with DVI adapter ?What does the DECIMATOR do with EDID ?My plan:5DIII HDMI cable DECIMATOR HDMI cable HDMI to DVI adapter DVI input ProjectorThanks !

A: Not used it on Canon 5D, but i can tell you from the Nikon experience that yes, the scaler will legalize your signal to match your projector device. The reason of your behavior is because of the DVI adapter-is not in sync with the type of signal your camera outputs. The Decimator will correct that.

Q: 10. ROI - Region of Interest Scaling - Any plans to include this feature in an Update?

A: Not at the moment
