Bundled with a space-saving stand mount, the nickel Neumann TLM 102 large-diaphragm condenser microphone brings renowned Neumann sound quality to a price point that's inclusive to home producers, working musicians, and independent singer-songwriters. The capsule's high SPL rating of 144 dB permits the recording of percussion, drums, amplifiers, and other loud sound sources clearly and without distortion. With its 8 to 12 kHz treble boost, the TLM 102 imparts a silky vocal presence while avoiding pronounced sibilance.
The mic utilizes a cardioid polar pattern to provide directional sound pickup in front of the capsule and strong rejection behavior behind it, yielding less background noise than most other polar responses. The integrated pop shield reduces breath noise and vocal plosives, though external pop filters are available for even more control. The TLM 102's transformerless output stage aids the mic in achieving a clean character with plenty of reach in the bass range, and it delivers resistance to electromagnetic interference.

Neumann developed the TLM 102 as a universal talent for vocal and instrumental recordings. Its finely tuned sound signature especially accents the area of 8 to 12 kHz which is crucial for human voices. The recordings get a silky elegance typical of large-diaphragm microphones; the voice gets a noble presence in the overall mix. Nevertheless, the TLM 102 remains easy to handle and deals masterfully with critical consonants or sibilants, thanks to the integrated pop shield.
The TLM 102 also processes extreme volume and jumps in dynamics without distortion. That makes it an excellent choice for miking loud amps and drums. It reproduces sound pressure levels of up to 144 dB (e.g. very loud trumpet at a distance of about 4") with great clarity: open, detailed, with powerful bass and refined treble.
The TLM 102 stands for legendary sound on a budget. Neumann remodeled the production and omitted non-vital functions such as pattern, pad, and low-cut switches. When you hear the TLM 102, you'll immediately notice what they did not omit: the Neumann sound, which remains faithful to its big role models.
The TLM series works with a transformerless output stage to enable a clean and direct sound, very "close" to the acoustic source, and a powerful bass transmission all the way down to the lowest frequencies. Its transformerless output stage also makes the microphone resistant to electromagnetic fields and minimizes transmission losses.

Q: 1. Which texture has this tablet? Standard or Smooth?
A: This would be the standard finish.
Q: 2. My son has a Mac and I would like to purchase this as a Christmas present. So what I would like to know, Is the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and Touch Large Tablet (PTH851) compatible with the Mac?
A: Yes. We use all Macs in my department.
Q: 3. Does the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II fit in the pouch with the hood on? Thanks.
A: Yes, the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II will fit in the Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Large Lens Pouch with the hood on.
Q: 4. Is the Wacom Intuos Pro compatible with Windows 10?
A: Yes, this is Windows 10 compatible.
Q: 5. Will this work with Blackmagic Design Da Vinci Resolve?
A: Yes. the stiles pen works like a mouse and the touchpad works well like a touchpad, the control wheel will change the size of your brush and other functions but if you are thinking that it is similar to the Blackmagic control panel it is not!
Q: 6. How closely does it mimic the touchpad of a Macbook Pro (2019 or later) and/or is it possible to set it up that way?
A: The Wacom Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet (Medium) BH #WAIPM would not feel like Apple's trackpad. It does offer multi-touch but it does not offer the haptic feedback you get from Apple's trackpad so it really would work much better as a drawing tablet. You would get a better trackpad experience by purchasing the Apple Magic Trackpad BH #APMTPD.
Q: 7. Would the pen & tablet be compatible for working & drawing in AutoCad with Windows 10?
A: I am using WACOM tablets in ACAD. Same with SolidWorks. A mouse is always in my left hand - only the scroll wheel is used here, for zooming, panning, navigating the modeling volume. This setup is something I have arrived at over twenty years ago, and it never failed me. What is also critical is that the scroll wheel on the mouse has the right sensitivity to push - it needs to be just right for the whole setup to become so transparent that you absolutely do not think about it. The WACOM tablet itself? You do not even notice it, if you are comfortable using a pencil or a pen in real life. A great tool always wants to remain invisible and just to serve as a natural extension to your extremities. WACOM does that. I have been a user of their tablets from the ways before Windows NT, through XP, 7, 10. In engineering apps like ACAD, SW and similar (where you are not using fancy pen tilt + thousands of levels of pressure sensitivity) any WACOM model is equally good, as long as you schose the size of the tablet wisely.
Q: 8. Where does this made??
A: You should look at the product's manufacturer website. The purpose of the Q&A is to ask specific questions about the products that users can give their opinions based on their experience with that item. A question such as yours can easily be searched on google.
Q: 9. Will this product be fully functional and able to recharge with a usb-c to thunderbolt 2 cable?
A: The product will function over this type of connection, however it will not charge as quickly.
Q: 10. Any compatibility issues with Windows 10?
A: I use it on a iMac
