The 256GB Professional 2000x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from Lexar features a storage capacity of 256GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous shutter bursts and rapid shooting, as well as raw and JPEG captures. This card is also well-suited for video capture, including 4K, 3D, and Full HD video, and can achieve maximum read speeds of up to 300 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 260 MB/s. Thanks to its V90 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 90 MB/s, making it qualified for use with cameras that include the Blackmagic Pocket 6K G2 and Ursa G2.

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins, and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

As with most Lexar media, this memory card is able to withstand water, shock, vibration, X-rays, and temperatures from -13 to 185°F, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments, such as snow and deserts. Should the card become compromised, users in the Americas will benefit from a limited lifetime warranty, while those in Germany and regions not recognizing the lifetime warranty will benefit from a limited 10-year warranty.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this card work with Lumix GH6 recording at 4k60 4:2:2 10bit?

A: No, The Lexar 256GB Professional 1667x card is a V60 rated card and a V90 card would be required. V90 card link https://bhpho.to/3LIkcSg

Q: 2. Would this record 6k braw on bmpcc 6k?

A: This actually might be a bit too slow for 6K BRaw on a BMPCC 6K. I would suggest a card with a higher sustained write speeds like the Sony Tough or Angelbird Cards. https://bhpho.to/3GXcOkv https://bhpho.to/3CPd82d

Q: 3. IS the Lexar Professional 1667x 256GB SDXC UHS-II Card compatible with the Nikon D7200?

A: No, it is best not to use UHS-II cards. The camera is made for UHS-1 cards.

Q: 4. Is this card (Lexar 256GB Professional 1667x UHS-II SDXC) compatible with the original BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera, the HD version? Anyone tried it?

A: On paper, the card should work without issue. UHS-II cards are backwards compatible with UHS-I card slots, since all that happens is that they read/write at UHS-I speeds. The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera is also SDXC-standard compatible, which means theoretically any capacity of card in the SDXC standard should work.

Q: 5. is this card better than SanDisk - Extreme 256GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card for photo as well as 4K video on D850/D750?

A: This Lexar Card has a V60 rating which the SanDisk card does not. Thus this is more suitable for higher bit rate video.

Q: 6. Has anyone used these in blackmagic video assist 12g using pro res hq 4K 24p ?

A: We do not recommend this SD card for 4K recording with the Blackmagic Video Assist. This Lexar SD card is only V60 and the Video Assist requires a V90 UHS II SDXC card for reliable 4K recording. Consider the Angelbird 256GB AV Pro Mk 2 UHS-II SDXC Memory Card

Q: 7. Will these work with 4k 8-bit log on the EOS R?

A: It is best for 4k to use a V90 not V60 card like one of these, https://bhpho.to/3MIYa2P .

Q: 8. Is this card produce better RAW photos on D750? I generally use SanDisk - Extreme 256GB SDXC UHS-I. Thinking about using a better one.

A: This is a faster card but your D750 doesn't have a UHS-II slot so you actually wont see the difference.

Q: 9. Is this card compatible and capable to record XAVC-S 4k120p 280Mbps on the Sony A7sIII?

A: Yes.

Q: 10. How good are these card with Sony A1 video/photo at 30fps?

A: Lexar 256GB Professional 1667x UHS-II SDXC Memory Cards are not made to handle 30 FPS photos or 8K 30p video from Sony A1. We would highly recommend you to get a Sony 160GB CFexpress Type A TOUGH Memory Card BH #SOCEAG160.

Zero compatibility problems with my Sony cameras and latest Macbook Air M1, and significantly cheaper than the competition when on sale. I know Lexar isn't as highly regarded as other brands, but personally I have never experienced a problem with one of their cards. I will update this review if I lose data in the future.
