The 6.5' Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord provides creative photographers with the ability to remotely fire Canon flashes with E-TTL / E-TTL II capabilities. Removing the flash from the camera's hot shoe allows the photographer to create unique and dramatic lighting styles that are not possible with a traditional shoe-mounted strobe. This coiled cord measures 6.5', which accommodates shooting with the flash mounted on a lightstand and with an umbrella, while staying in close proximity. Also, off-camera lighting reduces the harsh shadows commonly encountered with direct on-camera flashes and gives your photographs a more natural look.

One side of the TTL cable fits directly into the camera's hot shoe to ensure that all of the camera's exposure data is maintained. The other side can be attached to any stand, tripod, or device with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded stud or flash shoe mount, and the shoe has a locking knob to ensure your equipment is secure.

A: I use this flash cord with a X100T and it works flawlessly. One thing to note is when you tighten the locking knob it clamps down on the shutter speed dial which makes rotating it more difficult. If the lock is not fully tightened it is still secure yet the shutter speed dial spins freely.

i bought this so that i wouldn't be constrained to having my flash mounted only on top of my camera. it stretches out to about an arms length which is exactly what i was hoping for. 5

This was the highest quality camera cable accessory I have ever personally purchased. Every aspect of this item's construction was top notch: the shoes, shoe tightening/latching mechanism, cable thickness & flexibility, the electrical contacts on both ends, the sturdy construction of the shoe including a plated metal base plate. I'm new to off-camera flash, and this product made it easy to start exploring. Took me all of 2 minutes to figure how it works, and I've been using it with no problems since I've purchased it. Couldn't be any easier. I also own Pocket Wizards, which are great - but when you want simplicity and don't want to bother setting up the PWs, this is the way to go. 5

I use the short cord to have a flash on a camera bracket I bought the Canon cord and paid $60 and it last me 2 months. I got for half of the price of the canon TWO Vello cords and they are looking good, they are cheap but they don't look cheap, very well made...maybe better then the canon cord. Until today the cord is working fine and I diin't have to use the back up yet. I use this cord for weddings and I need to have all my equipment to be functional at 100% and I feel confident that I made a great purchase by not buying the canon cord again. Vello cord...I reccomend! 5

This TTL-off-camera flash cord is a simple and straight forward way to alter the location of your speedlite and increase the lighting options for your photos.
