The entire unit is designed to be mounted onto flat surfaces with the included hardware or adhesive silicone pads. An included 6.5' steel security cable can be locked to the base or back of the case, and then secured to a permanent fixture to prevent theft of the entire unit.

The iPad itself is secured from theft via a keyed lock, which also secures the iPad's data cable, preventing it from being tampered with. In addition, an included home button cover can be put in place to prevent users from changing what is displayed on-screen. Both the case and security cable lock can be opened with a single, included master key.

Being locked down and secure doesn't mean functionality is limited. The base can rotate a full 360 degrees, making employee-to-customer transactions easier.
