This technology uses digital processing to enhance the resolution, color, and overall image.

3LCD technology can display up to 100% of the RGB color signal without compromising brightness.

Pixel-shifting technology controls the three individual, high-definition LCD chips to process millions of pixels in parallel.

The Home Cinema 3800 accepts 100% of the HDR source information to faithfully reproduce HDR content for enhanced color quality. It supports the HDR10 and HLG HDR formats.

Real time, 12-bit analog-to-digital video processing is onboard to help provide smooth tonal transitions, eliminate banding, blocking, and other compression artifacts.

The Home Cinema 3800 outputs up to 3000 lumens of color and white brightness with a dynamic contrast ratio up to 100,000:1.

This projector supports most color formats, depths, and color spaces, as well as 4K HDR content at 60 Hz.

The lens uses a multi-element glass structure to help produce augmented image clarity and edge-to-edge focus uniformity, along with vertical and horizontal lens shift adjustment.

Bluetooth lets you wirelessly connect to your compatible external sound system.

The projector supports optional active 3D glasses for a more immersive experience. 3D video is projected at up to Full HD resolution.

Built-in rear-firing speakers mitigate the need for an external audio system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the maximum SD card storage for this camera?

A: Currently there are 1TB SDXC cards available for use with the Canon XA70 UHD 4K30 Camcorder with Dual-Pixel Autofocus.

Q: 2. Does this have a LANC input?

A: The Canon XA75 UHD 4K30 Camcorder with Dual-Pixel Autofocus has a 1x 2.5 mm Sub-Mini (LANC) Control Input.

Q: 3. Are these cameras NDI HX Upgradeable?

A: The Canon XA75 UHD 4K30 Camcorder with Dual-Pixel Autofocus is not supported by NDIHX.

Q: 4. it records PAL and NTSC both or NTSC only?

A: The Canon XA75 UHD 4K Camcorder Kit with BP-828 Battery, 64GB Card, UV Filter & Bag only records in NTSC compatible frame rates at this time.

Q: 5. Does this camera possess the ability to record in infrared? And if so, can you record say 1080p60 with it in that mode? Thanks

A: Yes, the Canon XA70 does have low light and IR night recording modes. Canon's IR mode will allow you to record in darkness using infrared recording, and the built-in infrared light on the handle unit, you can record nocturnal animals in their natural environment or other such scenes. See page 85 for more info: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/928194.pdf

Q: 6. Can a XA70, without the handle, balance on a Ronin S?

A: The DJI RS4 Pro would be the best choice for balancing larger camcorders. However, the Ronin S has been tested with smaller Sony camcorders. Like the NX80 which is a similar size to the Canon XA70.. You would need to test the Canon XA70 on the Ronin S though.

Q: 7. Does the time stamp show hours, minutes and seconds? Showing the seconds is a requirement for legal video in my state.

A: Yes, the Canon XA70 can burn time as hours, minutes and seconds for court reporting applications. OSD recording embeds date, time, timecode, and other data into your original camera files, effectively "time stamping" the information into each frame of video, a requirement for legal and law enforcement videographers.

Q: 8. What is the difference between the XA50 and the XA70?

A: The Canon XA50 and XA70 cameras are very similar with 1" low light imaging sensors. The XA70 adds - USB Streaming of video only. And it also has time date stamp recording modes which are useful for court reporters. Also the Canon X70 has higher bitrate video recording modes up to 160Mbps. The XA70 also has a slightly larger 3.5″ Touch Panel LCD Monitor and higher quality viewfinder.

Q: 9. Will the XA70 add the ability to use the LCD screen and the viewfinder simultaneously, unlike previous models?

A: The Canon XA70 UHD 4K30 Camcorder with Dual-Pixel Autofocus (B&H# CAXA70) will not simultaneously display an image in its LCD screen and its viewfinder. However, a new feature on this model (relative to the previous generation of similar Canon camcorders) is its 3.5" ultrabright LCD screen which is now both large enough and bright enough to allow for more than one person to monitor the recording at once.

Q: 10. Do left and right audio channels record with separation or can they be mixed to stereo center?

A: The Canon XA70 UHD 4K30 Camcorder with Dual-Pixel Autofocus has two XLR input channels which record separately. For stereo, use two separate balanced mics, or the internal stereo mic or an external stereo mic into the 3.5mm external mic jack
