The Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag from Ruggard holds your camera face down, with the lens attached in shooting position. When you're ready to shoot, simply remove your camera, get the shot and replace your DSLR in the bag. The zippered top of the bag opens away from your body for fast access to your gear. This also serves as a security feature since no one but you will be able to see inside the bag. The bag contains three removable dividers that can be configured to accommodate the gear you are carrying. The bag has a water-repellent exterior and smooth polyester lining that helps prevent scratches to the finish of your camera/lens combo.

For storage, there is a front zippered organizer panel with a mesh pocket, an exterior mesh side pocket, and two side loops that accept optional pouches. On the inside of the bag's quick release flap, there are two touch-fastened memory card pockets. The bag is carried by its adjustable, removable padded shoulder strap, top carry handle, or use the belt loop that will leave your hands free. The zippers have yellow pull tabs for easy operation, even if you're wearing gloves. An attached, rapid-deploy rain cover is stored in the bottom zippered pocket. The bag has metal D-rings for attaching an optional chest harness.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are the dividers fully detachable and can they be rearranged?

A: Yes.

Q: 2. Is the depth 7.5 or 9.0? Will my canon 60D with a canon 70-300L lens mounted fit lens down in this case? If not, do you have a recommendation?

A: The interior depth of the Ruggard Navigator 55 shoulder bag is 7.5 inches. A 60D with 70-300mm lens attached will fit if positioned horizontally in the bag.

Q: 3. Ruggard Thunderhead 35 , can I arrange for my DSLR attached to Tamron 150-600G2 ?

A: With the removal of some of the dividers, you can fit a DSLR body equipped with the Tamron 150-600mm G2 in the Ruggard Thunderhead 35.

Q: 4. Would this case fit the FastFoto FF-680W photo scanner? Looking for a carry/storage case for that scanner. Apparently the Journey 54 would not work well. Thanks.

A: Yes, that scanner will fit in this bag.

Q: 5. Can you carry the Sony A7rII , and an A6300 together in this case with 4 lenses ? Is there a place to attach the Tripod case on the outside of bag , will it also carry an iPad or Mac Book pro , and IS THIS CASE LOCKABLE ? I would like to LOCK the Zippers when on Aircraft in Cabin , or Trains ( Asia ).

A: The interior of this case has removable velcro dividers that will allow you to configure the contents. Depending on how big/long your lenses are 2 camera bodies and 4 lenses could fit. It may be difficult to attach your tripod. under one side the is an elastic band, but it would carry awkward. You might be able to slip it under the case flap. There is a semi-separate zippered enclosure(part of the lid flap) over the interior. That would only mean less cushion for the camera and contents. There is a compartment for a laptop/tablet(upright against the back wall) but it will only measure 13 X8 potentially 9 and again depends on the quantity of items you're wanting to put in the bag. There are two zippers that come together over the contents. The metal zipper slide is not a solid fabricated piece; the pulls are yellow nylon loops as seen in the bottom left corner of the bag. It could be locked but by no means completely secure. The lid clip on the front of the bag has no ability to lock. Maybe a zip tie. All said I LOVE this bag. It has more room and cushion than the backpack trend. Lots of convenient storage pockets/spaces. A carrying handle and nice adjustable shoulder strap. And a bonus hidden rain cover that can be zipped out in a moments notice.

Q: 6. For the Pro 65 bag...The specs states the interior dimensions as follows: 13.0 x 7.5 x 9.0 . Does anyone know which dimension is the height? Thank you.

A: interior of my bag 8 from padded bottom to top zipper.

Q: 7. Would it be a good fit for a D750 with battery grip and 24-120mm lens attached?

A: I'm not positive about your setup, but I have a D7200 with an 18-200 lens and it fits great. Can't say enough good things about this bag.

Q: 8. Is the waist strap/belt removable?

A: The waist belt is not removable but it is hide-away. So you can tuck the strap into the back if you do not wish to use it.

Q: 9. It is possible to fit Z6ii and the 24-70 F2.8 S with the mounted lenshood? Thank you

A: Yes. Perfect match for the following toploader will even fit a 24-105mm lens attached to body.

Q: 10. Will the pro 65 fit a 14" laptop?

A: Ruggard Pro 65 laptop compartment is 13 x 8". I would recommend measuring your laptop first to see if it would fit.

This bag is just the right size for the BlackMagic Design Pocket Cinema 4k which is like a DSLR body style but quite large. I put the BMPCC4K in here with a Tamron 28-300 lens with Canon-M43 adapter and it fits fine with a bit of slack. I even have a half-cage on the camera body and the fit is comfortable without being loose. A slightly longer lens would work too so I believe a 24-70 f2.8 would be fine. I'm not sure about a 70-200 with the BMPCC4K so look for the Ruggard Hunter Pro 75 to see if its dimensions are more appropriate since it is similar in size but for longer lenses. I made this review because Blackmagic cameras are odd sizes and this bag makes my camera easy to live with.

This bag is the perfect size for my Nikon D7500 with Nikkor AF-P 70-300mm lens attached. Well built and and has conveniently placed pockets. I particularly like the built in rain cover.

Instead of carrying a large backpack on a future trip I wanted something smaller and easy, quick access to my camera. This is going to work out great. I love Ruggard products for their construction and durability. This bag will also fit both my Canon 6D Mkll with attached battery grip and Canon 24-105mmL lens. I have found that a camera bag that will hold all the above is very difficult to find. Couldn't be more pleased!!

I am really positively surprised by this toploader!
First, my Nikon Z6ii fit perfectly with my 24-70 F2.8 S and is lens hood mounted, even with the battery grip.
The mesh pocket on the side is perfect to put a Smart phone and the front compartment is nicely roomy and compartmentalized.
Padding is great compared to other more expensive brands.
The strap is long and wide enough for a good transport comfort.
Zippers work easily with one hand.
In short an excellent reliable choice for its small price.

The well designed case has plenty of room for my Canon T 7I and Tamron 18-270 lens. The case has storage pockets that can be used to store extra SD cards as well as a battery, lens cloth and some other small items.

I have a large padded square projector case that I use as a portable home base for my Nikon gear. For in the field, I used a typical rectangular camera bag w/ shoulder strap. It always knocked around with every move I made and got in the way of my shooting. A good deal of the time I would have to take it off my body to access my gear. A major pain and loss of time. With the Hunter Pro 65 my camera and attached 28-300mm lens is complete and solidly protected with quick access at any time. The entire Hunter Pro bag fits perfectly into my Home Base bag. For extra gear (a second lens, my flash, cleaning kit, etc.) I use a fanny pack with a large pouch. I run the fanny pack belt through the Hunter Pro belt loops, throw the shoulder strap over my head and under one arm then lay the belt over each shoulder strap and buckle the fanny pack belt. All my gear is synched snugly to my lower chest and mid-section fully accessible. My best on the go any where field bag ever!!
