The 5.300 Lens Case from Beta Shell is a rigid, shock-resistant, and waterproof case designed to protect camera lenses--but will accommodate various types of equipment or electronics.

The case opens and closes much like any twist top bottle, including open / close indicators on top, as well as finger grooves for a very firm finger grip that is especially useful while wearing gloves.

Once your gear is loaded and the top is twisted on, if you feel it move around inside, re-open it and reset the lens. Adherence to the included instructions is mandatory if the case is to be used correctly and the lens completely protected. If your equipment is smaller or irregularly shaped, like a digital camcorder or scope, the included Fit & Trim Kit provides a customized solution.

Whether you are an intrepid outdoor photographer--or just want a strong, water-proof lens case--the Beta Shell system is a cost-effective way to protect your valuable electronics and optics.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you input one shotgun mic into channel 1 and split into two channels internally with different levels one 0db, -20db for safety track?

A: When using the L/R input, in addition to the recording at the set input level, the recorder can also record a separate file at alevel 12dB below. For example, this backup can be used if the recording level was set too high, causing distortion.

Q: 2. How well does this unit handle very loud low-end frequencies aka lots of bass? I have an event that needs to be recorded at the highest quality for the least amount of cash. Or does anyone have any other suggestions for a field recorder that has the highest quality recordings to price ratio? Thanks!

A: I haven't used it in those situations you described. I use it mainly for weddings. Vocally its bang on and is very clear and great crisp sound.

Q: 3. Can I use Sennheiser ME66/K6 - Super-Cardioid Short Shotgun Condenser Microphone Kit on this for audio recording?

A: You should be able to use the Sennheiser ME66/K6. The Zoom H5 has two XLR connectors. The Zoom H5 is an excellent piece of audio mixer/recorder. I use it all the time for my Video Productions.
