A: The motors are 28 Db. Photography lenses can be tricky. The PD3 relies on lens hard stops to calibrate. If a photography lens does not have hard stops the lens will simply continuously spin during the calibration process. What I usually recommend in this situation is to buy lens zip gears such as the ELE-FGK-LG3 which will help you create artificial hard stops.
