Q: 1. The three pin connector for the Canon/Bolt unit looks like it would fit my Godox TT685. Has anyone tried using this battery pack with Godox flashes ?

A: can it work with nikon sb 28 ???

Q: 2. Will this work with Yongnuo YN968N?

A: The Bolt CBP-C1 does work with my YN685N. The end that attaches to the flash is a straight plug. This configuration is what Cannon uses however it works with my Nikon D7100, Yongnuo YN622N-TX and the YN685N. I use the wireless set up and het faster recycle time. I have not tried to count the increase in flashes that you may obtain with this.

Q: 3. Does it work with Sony HVL-F60RM, the radio triggering flash?

A: No the Sony HVL-F60RM flash is not "External Power Pack Compatible".

Q: 4. Good day everyone - I recently bought 6 of these for my 2 Canon 600Ex-RT and my 4 Yongnuo 600Ex-RT II. The High Voltage light is flashing slow meaning an error on all the Yonguo flashes but works fine on the Canon. Can someone tell me if they are compatible? I thought I read they were but it is a lot of money if I cant get them to connect so will return them. Using the great customer service we expect from B&H. Many thanks

A: Well after testing these out they do work. What does not work properly is the High Power LED. On the Canon flash it stays lit as it is supposed to when the flash is turned on. On the Yongnuo it flashes every time I made a flash. To be honest I am never going to look at the LED after I turn the units on. I did do a firmware upgrade on the Yongnuo but that did not fix the error. Other than that they work great. Glad I tested it as I do not want another system. I am happy to keep them with this minor issue.

Q: 5. Will this Bolt P12 work with Olympus cameras? I read elsewhere that this battery pack connector may be compatible with Olympus connections. Thanks.

A: No it will not work with the Olympus connector.

Q: 6. Does this suitable to use with Canon MR-14EX II Macro Ring Lite?

A: Yes, it is suitable They are compatible.

Q: 7. Does this work with SB-800? Thanks!

A: No, the plugs are different. I also have SB800 & purchased this for that flash after being told by B&H it would work.

Q: 8. Can you use this battery pack for Nikon ss 700 speed lights?

A: No, the SB-700 does not have the power port for the battery pack to plug into. You will need a SB-800, SB-900/910, or SB-5000.

Q: 9. which model is compatible to godox v860ii speedlight for sony?

A: Sorry but this Bolt battery is compatible with only the following Sony flashes : HVL-F58AM, HVL-F60M, and HVL-F60RM.

Q: 10. Do you also have to add batteries inside the flash to work with the battery pack?

A: Yes, the batteries inside the flash power the flash's display. The batteries inside the battery pack fire the flash and improve the recycle time. Also, when the batteries in the battery pack wear down, your backup for firing the flash will be those batteries inside the flash itself. -- John

I already owned two of these and decided to purchase two more so each speedlite would have a battery pack when the environment required two speedlites for each umbrella. Using the battery packs really improves the speedlite recycle time. Now I'm able to get the shoot because I'm no longer waiting for the speedlites to recharge.

Kudos to the Bolt brand for bringing a more economical battery pack to market. This looks, feels and operates very much like the Canon unit and I'm quite satisfied with it. I like the sliding latch for the battery tray and the lock button. The performance is excellent and the fact that it includes safety circuitry is an indication that Bolt does give proper consideration to regulatory matters.

Honestly, I didn't count the number of flashes but it wasn't done when I was. One of the best buys I've made.

I was looking for a new battery pack that would fit my LumoPro LP-180 flash units, and bought this item based on the reviews. I'd never used a Bolt product before but I've used it on several shoots so far and have been pleased. Construction is good, and my recycle time was fast. So far I haven't had any need to replace the batteries during shoots that last 2-3 hours.

Simple but useful. Not sure how well it will hold up with use. Pretty sure cord will be the first thing to go. Cheap compared to Canon cost but either is over-priced for what it is.

I am using this pack with my Godox/Flashpoint TT685/Zoom R2 TTL flash. It super powers that thing so that it fires in 1 second flat. The case is nice, I wish it had a way to clip it to a lightstand though. The cord is perfect and very flexible without feeling insecure. I wish they had made the battery insert reversible like it is on the Nikon battery pack. I had purchased a cheap pack off amazon and it made a weird clicking noise, sent it back and got this one on sale for not much more. This one is completely silent, and I'm very happy thus far.
