A: It has a left right line level input on the back of the unit. They are unbalanced RCA inputs. It will imbed into the video out.

A: I have not connected midi, but I have had a long run around with several other audio input devices. My experience has been somewhat traumatic as I have found that the Roland V1HD does not seem to mix well with some devices and I have had to go through intermediary systems to get an acceptable (not excellent) audio quality. I'm saying this only to encourage you to keep researching because the right answer will probably save you headaches down the line.

A: This unit works with AC power. You could look in to a portable power pack with a standard US 110VAC Wall outlet.

A: Basically any NTSC with a HDMI input can go into the switcher. All inputs must be the same resolution/frame rate as it does not scale. As long as your projector will accept HDMI you should be fine on the output. Remember HDMI cables have a relatively short distance, if you need long runs you will need to get an HDMI extender, usually runs CAT6 between the transmitter and receiver.This is a great basic product that is very easy to setup and operate.
