Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Q: 1. I have three lens. Nikno 35mm, 18-140mm, and 70-300mm. Will I be able to use these with any of my lens and what kind of results can I expect? Thanks

A: Yes, you can use the extension tubes with these lenses. It will give you more magnification and will shorten the shooting distance. Autofocus is retained by these devices, however they may cause the lens' minimum focus distance to be so close that manual focus becomes required.

Q: 2. will these extension tubes work with the full-frame Nikon D600 for full frame effect

A: Yes, the Vello Auto Extension Tubes for Nikon are compatible with the Nikon D600.

Q: 3. Do these work with Fuji 50mm f2?

A: These extension tubes fit a Fujifilm 50mm f/2.

Q: 4. What size is the tripod folded?

A: The length of the tripod legs included with the Gitzo GT1545T Series 1 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head & GM2542 Carbon Fiber Monopod (Special 50th Anniversary Edition) when folded is 16.7".

Q: 5. It s a stupid question, but have to ask. Do these extensions make automatic a manual lens when used together?

A: These extension tubes when used together would not take away the use of autofocus on your lens.

Q: 6. I have a Nikon D5100,,the description for these Vello lenses say that they are not compatible with Nikon D5000 series cameras but some of the answers here and on other forums say they do work. Can anyone clarify/verify this for me?

A: I don't own a D5100, but they work with Nikon F mount. Should work with the D5100. Some lens may now auto focus.

Q: 7. Will these tubes work with my 60mm macro on the D810?

A: I can't imagine any reason they wouldn't. They work fine adjusting the AF and aperture with a few lenses I've tried them with on my D750.

Q: 8. It will work on my D5300 with 50mm 1.8???

A: No. These extension tubes are not compatible with Nikon D5000 series cameras

Q: 9. Does this work with the newer Fujinon 16-80mm f/4 lens?

A: Yes, they will work.

Q: 10. will this work with the TC-14 or TC-20 teleconverter from Olympus?

A: We have not tested using the Vello EXT-MFTD2 Auto Extension Tube Set for Micro 4/3 Mounts and Lenses with 1.4x or 2x teleconverters. Teleconverters are designed to multiply the focal length of the lens to increase the lens' reach, whereas extension tubes are designed for macro photography to allow you to focus closer than the lens' designed minimum focus distance, increasing magnification, but eliminating the ability to focus at infinity. Extension tubes and teleconverters are not often used together, and I have not seen them tested together.

I needed a very stable and sturdy tripod to support long lens wildlife and astrophotography gear. I initially considered the GT3543LS and GT3543XLS but found the former to be a little too low as I am 6'3" tall. The GT3543XLS extends to a very high 88.5" but folds up just a little too long for me to travel with. I stepped up to this model, the GT4543LS, which, when fully extended, is a perfect height for me. It also adds even more stability without a whole lot of additional weight over the 3 Series. Highly recommended for those seeking the highest quality, stability, and vibration resistance.
