Q: 4. What are the major differences between the Panasonic HC-X1 and the Panasonic AG-UX180?

A: With both the HC-X1 and AG-UX180 not being released until later this year we do not have all the specs available on both. At this time we do know that the UX180 will have both HDMI and SDI outputs, while the HC-X1 will only have HDMI.

A: This camcorder does not offer any face detection/tracking features.

A: It works with the BG,but not perfectly. Would probably take it off when using the grip.

A: Hi Nancy, it helps against saw and dust because the majority of the body is covered with silicone and the silicone fits smoothly on the body. You are right, in the openings water, dust can reach the camera, the camera case is not waterproof.

A: The dimensions of the easyCover Silicone Protection Cover for Canon EOS R3 (Black) would be approximately right for the R5 plus battery grip, but since this cover is not designed for that, there's no guarantee that it would work.

A: Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have any silicone protection covers or skins available for use with the Canon EOS 1D X DSLR camera. While not a camera skin, if you are simply looking for additional protection for your needs, the universal LensCoat BodyGuard Pro (Realtree Max4 HD), B&H # LELCBGPM4, or the LensCoat BodyGuard Pro with Clear Back (Realtree Max4 HD), B&H # LELCBGPCBM4, would be the closest comparable items that may work for your needs.

A: According to Panasonic, the HDMI outputs images up to 4K 24p and UHD 60p/50p and is compatible with external recorders such as the ATOMOS Shogun. B&H offers other external recorders that should work such as those by Convergent Design and Video Devices.
