Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Q: 1. Thanks to all who responded to my question: Are the feet removable/replaceable? I had already reached out to Oben and they responded just a few minutes ago as follows:Hello Robert,The spiked feet can be removed on the CT-3535/BE-208T .We do sell replacement rubber feet,Regards,YossiGradus GroupFrom the many users who answered no , I must assume that it is not obvious that the spikes can be removed. I guess I will order and see what the tripod looks like. Hope this helps others.

A: Thank you very much for the feedback!

Q: 2. Can this tripod support a 300mm f2.8 lens?

A: I guess it depends on the weight of your 300 f2.8 and the weight of your camera. I have used a nikon 200-500 zoom and this weighs 2.3kg + my camera weighs 2.3kg and works fine.

Q: 3. Will this stabilize a Canon 5D3 with 70-200 2.8? about 6lbs together. I know it says 8.8 but real world usually differs. Trying to lighten the load. Still like full frame.

A: I have used the tripod nearly fully extended with a Nikon D7200 and 70-300 with the lens extended to 300 and it was very stable. There was no wind.

Q: 4. Are there spikes at the bottom of the legs?

A: No, no spikes.

Q: 5. does the gimbal have friction adjustment or just locking?

A: It doesn't really have friction, you can lightly tighten the locking knob to create a sort of friction but technically not a friction system.

Q: 6. Can I use Oben TAB-2M Two-Mount Tripod Accessory Bar on this tripod? Or other overhead shooting arm?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. The description says that it weighs 5.1lbs but the specs say 3.1lbs, which is correct?

A: The weight of 3.1 lbs is correct.

Q: 8. I have a sony Mirrorless camera --a6300 will this ballhead work with it?

A: I do not own this type of Camera. I use the tripod for mt Fujifilm T2 mirrorless camera and it works great.

Q: 9. Is the ballhead removable to be used on other products, such as a platypod?

A: Yes, the Oben BE-208T ball head included with the purchase of the Oben CT-3535 Tripod with BE-208T Ball Head Oben CT-3535 Folding Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod is removable. The base of the BE-208T ball head has a 3/8"-16 female tripod threaded socket on the base to connect to other devices. Both the Platypod Ultra Plate Camera Support, B&H # PLULTRA, and the Platypod Max Camera Support, B&H # PLPMPMT1009, have male 3/8"-16 tripod threds and would be compatible for use with the Oben BE-208T.

Q: 10. Does anyone have the Non-Carbon Fiber version of this tripod? (AT-3535 with the same BE-208T head) How does it compare weight wise and is it worth the huge price difference?

A: Is it worth the price difference? Yes and no. Yes if you will be carrying the tripod any decent distance (backpacking, where every ounce counts!), or if you have any physical limitations like I do (again, where every ounce counts). No of you will be carrying it shorter distances. BTW, .4lbs = 6.4oz., just under half a pound OR about the weight of an iPhone 7 Plus.
