This means that you an charge or operate a device that is 3.5 amps for 2 hours.Or, more realistically, you can charge or operate a device that draws say 0.5 amps for 7 hours., (0.5ampsx7 hrs= 3.5amps). Get the idea? I was using this to operate my smaller telescope mounts that drew about 0.2 amps. This allowed many hours without worries of power outage. But more recently, I bought a larger mount that draws 0.3 amps during normal tracking, but up to 4 amps for fast speed slowing. After about 2 hours I was getting power interrupts.
