This is the 35355 67 x 91" Replacement Screen Surface for Fast-Fold.

The tab-tensioning feature assures a flat, undistorted image. The back of the screen is designed with additional bracing to promote an even flatness to the screen surface. When this is achieved, the projected image appears more professional leaving less room for your audience to be distracted by a potentially skewed image.

Note: This is a replacement screen surface only. The frame and legs are available separately. This surface is for a Fast-Fold screen with a 67 x 91" viewing area (113" diagonal).

Only by going into the pp9 profile settings and changing the Color Mode to Standard are you then allowed to do things like set manual white balance values for grey cards, input manual Kelvin values, or use indoor / outdoor presets. A: On the PXW-Z90 is no nightshot function such as infrared or green surveillance video on this camera. If that is what you need, there are cameras for that. This is much more sophisticated camcorder for events/social/weddings/broadcast and it will deliver an excellent image. It does have a 1 sensor so it is much better than camcorders of its type just a few years ago to record in low light. Do know that effective low light shooting is also dependant on the videographer applying all the technique they can to make the video effective. This can include boosting the available light, using an on-board light not at full intensity but just enough to give detail to a face 3' away, etc etc. Noise should be acceptable unless you are in near total darkness and shooting high FPS. As far as depth of field is concerned I suggest more research as to what it is, what it does and how you can use it. Generally, when shooting high FPS you need light so the aperture is going to be wide open then on medium to telephoto shots the DOF will be limited.

My question is how much background blur this aperture/sensor ratio can produce, and whether a different camera, also meeting the above criteria, might produce better background blur? For example, I read the aperture is f2.8 when the zoom is set to all the way wide -- but to what focal length would that equate in full frame mirrorless terms? Thanks in advance!

A: The amount of depth of field depends on the focal length, aperture, the distance of your subject in focus to the camera's sensor, and the distance of your subject to the background. Decreasing the aperture and distance between the camera and subject in focus will increase your depth of field. Increasing the focal length and distance between the subject in focus to the background will also produce more background blur. B&H lists a 35mm equivalent focal length, on the specifications tab on each camera (any camera that is not full-frame). For the Sony PXW-Z90V, the 35mm equivalent focal length is 29mm and zooms 48 times (29-1392mm).
