Q: 5. I'm a science writer and I shoot mostly natural history. Many of my images have been published--so image quality is extremely important to me. Shifting away from my heavier Nikon DSLR systems, I'd like to make an informed choice between a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 and a Lumix DMC-FZ2500. Advice?

A: I too was a Nikon Shooter with both full and cropped framed sensors. As a pro, I was concerned about image quality as well. I got a FZ1000 and was blown away by the image quality and the other features that now I cannot live without. I damaged the screen one during a shoot (I wish the camera was weatherproof) and bought a second FZ1000. Clients are now asking for video in addition to stills, so I just purchased the FZ2500. I used it over the weekend and was very impressed. I now only use my Nikon gear for shoots that require specialty lenses (fish eye or really wide angle). I don't miss the weight of the Nikon, and having one lens that will do 90% of what I need is great.

Q: 6. What video editing programs can be used to edit video?

A: Adobe Premiere, FCP-X and DaVinci Resolve. It also depends on the computer, not many can handle 4K, but for HD you should be fine. I'm using an iMac with i7 processor .

Q: 10. hi Sony a6000 do battery charger include in the box ?

A: As indicated under the In The Box section on our website, the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera includes the Sony NP-FW50 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery (1020mAh), the Sony AC Adapter AC-UB10, and the Sony Micro-USB Cable. Pages 15-16 of the camera's instruction manual states that, to charge the battery, you would first insert the NP-FW50 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery into the camera, then connect the Micro-USB cable to the camera, and the other end to the AC Adapter AC-UB10. You would then charge the camera by plugging the AC adapter into your household wall socket. Conversely, you may charge the battery by connecting the camera directly to the USB cable on the camera. If you are looking a wall charger to charge the battery outside the camera, you would have to purchase an external charger separately. You may purchase the Sony BC-TRW W Series Battery Charger (Black), B&H # SOBCTRW, or the Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for NP-FW50 Battery, B&H # WACSONPFW50, for your needs. The Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera does not use a full-frame sensor. Our website indicates the camera uses the 24.3MP APS-C Exmor APS HD CMOS Sensor, which has a 1.5x crop factor.
