A: Your Cameras will work. You can Hot Swap the batteries one at a time the slider draws power from only one battery at a time. Make Shure your batteries ae fully charged before you start.. The longest time lapse is 22 minutes. The fully charged batteries should last about 10 hours.

A: Yes, the manufacturer states that the GVM GT-80WD supports up to 5.5 pounds for multi-angle usage.
