The RBC22 Replacement Battery Cartridge #22 from APC is tested and certified for compatibility to restore UPS performance to the original specifications. It is designed by APC by Schneider Electric for APC UPS's for complete compatibility with the intelligent battery management system. A battery is meant to work behind the scenes. This replacement battery for my UPS Backup unit performs as it should right out of the box. Since it is an OEM product, I expect it to work as well as the original. 5
