Kodak Vision3 250D #5207 35mm Color Negative Silent Movie Film is a medium speed film that takes advantage of Vision 2 technology but takes it to the next level by incorporating an advanced grain reduction system. This serves well when photographing shadow areas.
In addition, there is extended highlight control (over 2 stops). When scanned, details in the highlight areas are recoverable. As a film, it neatly fits into a digital program.

Q: 3. Will this film work for a Kodak Instamatic M8 camera?
A: This film will be able to run through the camera. If you have the camera manual you can check if the camera will recognize the 200 ISO value of the film so the automatic light meter is adjusted properly. In older cameras the light meter battery is difficult to replace, and may not be working. If this is the case you can use an external light meter to be safe.

Q: 5. does this film our on my Argus M3 Cinetronic movie camera?

Q: 6. So when I get done shooting, I cannot just simply process this and play it on an old super 8 projector right? It has to be scanned to digital right? If so, can someone direct me to color super 8 that can be played on a projector (if that is even being manufactured now)
A: The Kodak VISION3 50D Color Negative Film #7203 (Super 8, 50' Roll), B&H # KOV7203, is negative film. While you may use the above film on an old Super 8 projector, do note it would look weird as all the colors would be inverted. It is designed to be scanned and kept for archival purposes while reversing and editing the digital files. If you are looking for chrome reversal film, the Kodak Ektachrome 100D Color Transparency Film #7294 (Super 8, 50' Roll), B&H # KOE100D50, would be positive film that does not need to be reversed to properly show correct colors. It may be played and displayed properly on a Super 8 projector. That being said, do note that this film has low contrast and scanning and editing the film in digital post-processing is still recommended for optimum performance.

A: The can with film weighs approximately 5lbs.
