The digital army Camo Tripod Head Cover for the Jobu BWG-Pro/Pro2 Gimbal Head from LensCoat is made of 100% closed-cell neoprene that provides protection from scrapes and bumps, preserving its appearance and resale value. It also helps break up the shape, making it less noticeable to wildlife. The cover also acts as a thermal barrier, helping to protect the hands in hot and cold temperatures. Digital Army Camo is an advanced computer generated camouflage pattern. It is modeled after the U.S. Army's standard-issue ACU pattern, which provides a pixelated pattern that maximizes visual break up. The pattern, constructed from small rectangular pixels of color, mimics naturally occurring dappled textures and rough boundaries.

Q: 1. I'm going to buy one mor tripod.I have the opportunity to purchase manfrotto 055cxpro3 or manfrotto mt055cxpro3.What are the benefits of the newer tripod (manfrotto mt055cxpro3)?Thanks in advanceGershon

A: I purchased the MT055CXPRO4 because of the Height that it goes to. I am using it for Hunting with my bigger Bino's on it and sometimes you have to stand up to see over Bushes or through Trees. The Carbon Fiber is a little bit Lighter to pack in and out then the steel Manfroto I used to carry. That is why I bought it. Hope this helps in your decision. Tim

Q: 2. Will the RRS BH-55 work on this tripod, given that the diameter of the ball-head is larger than the diameter of the tripod plate?

A: Yes, this ballhead will work though it has a larger diameter.

Q: 3. There are no reviews of this item. How new is it to the market?

A: Neither one of the products in this kit is new. The MT055CXPRO4 legs came out in 2014 and the 468MGRC2 head is well over a decade old. This appears to be a new kit that B&H has put together, which is why it looks like a new product.

Q: 4. Does this work good with the Sony 200-600 mm lens?

A: The load capacity of the Magnus GH-M1 Gimbal Head is 30LBs. It will be able to handle the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens.

Q: 5. How well does this head move in cold temperatures? I am shooting in Yellowstone this winter.

A: This head functions well in cold weather environments.

Q: 6. Can this be used with Sirui KX 30 acra compatible head, this head as a safety push button for additional safety, so I will need to push this button normally if I have to slide out the camera or lens. ? Presume same is true here.? Also will it take load of Nikon D500 with Nikon 200-500 lens mounted, total weighing around 3.5Kg?

A: While we were unable to test this, we feel that the Sirui locking pin will be able to engage holes on the the Jobu Design BWG Micro Gimbal/Ballhead Adapter. The Jobu Design BWG Micro Gimbal/Ballhead Adapter is rated for 10 lbs/ 4.5 kg and the Sirui is rated for 39.6 lbs / 17.9 kg so you should be good.

Q: 7. The Brenton website list maximum load as 14lbs, where does the 22lbs listed here come from?

A: The listed load capacity of the Benro TTOR35C Carbon Fiber Tripod with GH2F Folding Gimbal Head is 14 lbs.

Q: 8. Is this gimbal wide enough to accommodate a "pro-sized" body; e.g. an older Nikon D3X? Thank you!

A: Gimbal heads can accommodate any camera body as you do not mount the camera to the gimbal, and instead mount the telephoto lens. Due to this, most DSLR bodies do not fit on the mounting platform and need to sit behind the gimbal.

Q: 9. can i remove base plate and only use arca swiss plate?

A: The GH-M1 has a Arca type quick release clamp, so the included quick release plate can be removed and replaced with an Arca Swiss brand plate.

Q: 10. Has anyone used this gimbal with a lightweight Gitzo mountaineer series With a small head such as the 1382tqd?

A: This is a solid option if you're mounting it onto small travel sized ball heads.
