A: No. I have a Canon 80D and its battery grip. Unfortunately this cover doesnt accommodate the battery grip. You would have to cut away the bottom portion of the cover to guarantee a secure connection between the camera and the grip. This is why my cover remains in the closet. A better solution would be to design a rubber cover that covers the battery grip too! Now I would purchase that.

A: Dear Jason, thank you for your request. The camera case for the R does not fit when using a battery grip. It is quite easy to install and remove the camera case but cannot be used combined with battery grip.

A: The bottom of the case is opened pretty much throughout, so I can't see why it would not fit. The thickness too is not huge so it should hug around the edges of the cam where the battery grip doesn't touch. I would definitely give it a go.
