Q: 1. Would this lens work on a Canon EOS M with the EF-M 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS STM lens that comes with it? Is there a adapter?

A: The Canon EF-M 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 has a 52mm filter thread connection. Using the step-up ring below would allow you to mount and work with the SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 2.0x Anamorphic Adapter. Sensei PRO 52-62mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring BH #SESURPA5262

Q: 2. Wich focal lenght can be used with this adapter below 50mm focal lenght in full frame dslr .. Can i use it with 35mm focal lenght lens ? With 28mm ... Or better using with micro 4-3 sensor size ?

A: When using a full frame camera you can use focal lengths between 70-100mm. For both APS-C and MFT Cameras the range goes from 35-100mm.

Q: 3. Will this work on my Sony X70 Camcorder (it has a 62mm Front thread)?

A: While you may be able to physically connect the Anamorphic Adapter to the PXW-X70, we are not sure how well it would actually work. That is something you would need to test out to see the results. This adapter is a Returnable Item at this time.

Q: 4. Does it work with a Sony a 7 III and the Zeiss Batis 40mm?

A: We're afraid not. The diameter of the Batis 40mm is too large to properly work with this adapter, you need a lens with a front diameter that is at 50mm or below. The SLR Magic Cine II 50mm f/1.1 Lens (Sony E-Mount), B&H # SL5011FE2, is a great choice for this Anamorphot Adapter and the A7III. https://bhpho.to/2CXd0lW

Q: 5. Ive been trying to aling this, but the ring screw mechanism is terrible, any tips?

A: Absolutely agree. My only advice is be patient. Screw it very slowly and carefully. After some time, it seems to screw a little easier. Good luck.

Q: 6. will this work with the sayang cine lenses?

A: this adaptor will work fro any lens with a front thread under 62mm. because this adaptor has a rear thread of 62 it will not fit onto any lens with say a 77mm thread. its ok to go lower, say if the sayang lens has a 50mm front thread you can easily buy a step down ring to match them up.

Q: 7. Is this real anamorphic or fake Is it a blue coding and spiral opening to simulate anamorphic

A: This is an adapter that will allow you to get a real anamorphic effect with the proper lens and camera.

Q: 8. hello, I have a question I will buy a mitakon lens 35mm 0.95 a Rokinon 12mm T2.2 Cinema and a Rokinon 50mm f / 1.2 and I want to know if I can adapt the slr anamorphic adapter 40 0 50 to these lenses with a sony camera a6500?https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1304887-REG/mitakon_zhongyi_mtk35m95m2sesi_speedmaster_35mm_f_0_95_mark.htmlhttps://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1047000-REG/rokinon_cv12m_e_12mm_t_2_2_cine_lens.htmlhttps://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1185693-REG/rokinon_rn50m_e_50mm_f_1_2_aps_c_w_a.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1304887-REG/mitakon_zhongyi_mtk35m95m2sesi_speedmaster_35mm_f_0_95_mark.htmlhttps://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1047000-REG/rokinon_cv12m_e_12mm_t_2_2_cine_lens.htmlhttps://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1185693-REG/rokinon_rn50m_e_50mm_f_1_2_aps_c_w_a.html/a

A: The Anamorphot Adapters and the lenses they work with is a bit tricky. If you are looking to purchase lenses, your best bet is to get SLR Magic lenses designed specifically for this adapter. Their 35 and 50mm E-Mount options would be the way to go and will work with this adapter and the A6500.https://bhpho.to/2seebalhttps://bhpho.to/2liW7Y2

Q: 9. I would like to use this adapter with my Zeiss prime lenses, on a D810, with my 85mm and 100mm lenses. What is the best kind of step-down ring to use, since the thread sizes on my lenses are all larger than the recommended 58mm?

A: here's what can tell you...if the filter threads on your lens are larger than 62mm on a full frame sensor, it will vignette. i have a very special manual zoom lens that is so sharp, i don't really understand it. the threads are 72mm, and it vignettes so badly that in order to correct it the horizontal crop is almost 4:3. on super35, it's still no good. it is what it is. i really like this adapter. i have two (with the range finder-it's a must have). hope this helps.from their website, they suggest full frame sensors with 40-85mm lenses. in fact, for any sensor size, they recommend a max of 85mm. for fun, i put one on my old Canon XA10 and zoomed it to 200mm. it looked fine. i know it's a big purchase for most, so make sure you have lens specs that they suggest.

Q: 10. Would this work with the A7Siii and a Sony Zeiss 50mm?

A: Unfortunately, the SLR Magic Anamorphic Adapter mounts to lenses with 62mm front thread. The Sony Zeiss 50mm has a 72mm filter front.
