A: Dear Jason, thank you for your request. The camera case for the R does not fit when using a battery grip. It is quite easy to install and remove the camera case but cannot be used combined with battery grip.

A: The box states it is silicone only. No other material listed

A: The bottom of the case is opened pretty much throughout, so I can't see why it would not fit. The thickness too is not huge so it should hug around the edges of the cam where the battery grip doesn't touch. I would definitely give it a go.

A: Technically yes it will fit, but the battery door is different between the two cameras so I would recommend getting one for the z7II.
