A: This is the offical reply from easyCover regarding use of battery grips: Due to the nature of the Camera Case and in order to provide the most amount of protection for your camera, the easyCover Camera Case includes a lip along the bottom of the camera body. This ensures a good and strong fit, prevents debris from getting beneath the camera case, and protects the bottom of your camera from damage when setting it down on rough or dirty surfaces. Due to this protective lip, it is possible that the battery grip will not fully connect with your camera. We have had some customers modify their easyCover Camera Case and remove this lip with a sharp pair of scissors or a razor blade, then connect their battery grip with very happy results. While easyCover cannot recommend this modification, it is always an option to you should you choose to use a battery grip with your easyCover Camera Case.
