Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will it works with Sony A7RIII and FE PZ28-135mm F4 OSS lens, which is 95mm front? If not, what you will advise
A: This product will not work with the PZ 28-135mm. The lens element is too large, the threading does not correspond and its focal range is outside of what can be used with this Anamorphot Adapter. What we would advise instead is that you use this adapter with the SLR Magic MicroPrime Cine 50mm T1.2 E-Mount lens, which is compatible with this adapter for its lens element, threading and focal length. https://bhpho.to/2HsQXkO
Q: 2. Can you carry the Sony A7rII , and an A6300 together in this case with 4 lenses ? Is there a place to attach the Tripod case on the outside of bag , will it also carry an iPad or Mac Book pro , and IS THIS CASE LOCKABLE ? I would like to LOCK the Zippers when on Aircraft in Cabin , or Trains ( Asia ).
A: The interior of this case has removable velcro dividers that will allow you to configure the contents. Depending on how big/long your lenses are 2 camera bodies and 4 lenses could fit. It may be difficult to attach your tripod. under one side the is an elastic band, but it would carry awkward. You might be able to slip it under the case flap. There is a semi-separate zippered enclosure(part of the lid flap) over the interior. That would only mean less cushion for the camera and contents. There is a compartment for a laptop/tablet(upright against the back wall) but it will only measure 13 X8 potentially 9 and again depends on the quantity of items you're wanting to put in the bag. There are two zippers that come together over the contents. The metal zipper slide is not a solid fabricated piece; the pulls are yellow nylon loops as seen in the bottom left corner of the bag. It could be locked but by no means completely secure. The lid clip on the front of the bag has no ability to lock. Maybe a zip tie. All said I LOVE this bag. It has more room and cushion than the backpack trend. Lots of convenient storage pockets/spaces. A carrying handle and nice adjustable shoulder strap. And a bonus hidden rain cover that can be zipped out in a moments notice.
Q: 3. Is the depth 7.5 or 9.0? Will my canon 60D with a canon 70-300L lens mounted fit lens down in this case? If not, do you have a recommendation?
A: The interior depth of the Ruggard Navigator 55 shoulder bag is 7.5 inches. A 60D with 70-300mm lens attached will fit if positioned horizontally in the bag.
Q: 4. What's the best option when it comes to ND filters? 112mm is huge, should i put a filter on the rear thread?
A: Putting a filter on the rear might work but we feel that probably the front unit would twist too easily and ruin the best take of the day. Sometimes, you just have to bit the bullet when you are trying to make your film. Here are all the available 112mm ND's we have. B+W is the choice brand but Tokina is very good on its own. https://bhpho.to/2XujTpm You might also consider using a 4 x 5.65" filter matte box.
Q: 5. Would this case fit the FastFoto FF-680W photo scanner? Looking for a carry/storage case for that scanner. Apparently the Journey 54 would not work well. Thanks.
A: Yes, that scanner will fit in this bag.
Q: 6. does this adapter works with Sigma Art 35 mm 1.4 (67 mm ring) and Sigma Art 24mm 1.4 (77 mm ring) on S35 sensor?
A: It will not work with either lens because the filter thread size for the Sigma Art 35mm and 24mm are larger than the accepted 65mm.
Q: 7. will it work on my slr magic microprime 35mm?
A: Yes, the SLR Magic Anamorphot-65 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter is compatible with the SLR Magic MicroPrime Cine 35mm T1.3 lens as it has a filter thread of 82mm.
Q: 8. One question, SLR magic Anamorphic 65, which was reviewed by you. Does it produce oval bokeh shape?
A: Yes it is. In general the bokeh from anamorphic adapters will take an oval shape.
Q: 9. Does this unit have a built in traffic receiver? I just ordered and got this today and it only came with a standard power cord, so is the traffic receiver built in or does my order need to be corrected?
A: The receiver is built into the car 12V power cord and it needs to be plugged in. Try it out - the traffic feature will not work without the cord but will work once plugged in.
Q: 10. 0This anamorphic SLR adapter could somehow fit the Voigtlander MFT 10.5mm, 17.5mm, 25mm and 42.50mm lenses? The front threads of Voigtlander lenses are 72, 58 and 52 respectively, I thought of using some adapter. What do you say? thank you!
A: We are still waiting for full details on this product. What we know at this time is that it works with lenses with a front element size of up to 65mm and has a rear thread size of 82mm. You will want to measure the lenses you have to make sure they are not wider than 65mm. You do need to take in to account focal lenght as well and in the past products like this would not work with wider lenses like a 10.5mm or 17.5mm and 25mm is right on the edge. The 42.5mm from Voigtlander has a good chance of working though, you would need a 58 to 82mm step up ring. Please keep in mind that we will need to wait for more details and even the products release before we can say for certain what lenses it will work with.https://bhpho.to/2Lhhgk6
