The Dual Speed Focuser from Vixen enhances the standard focusing system on a Vixen telescope - it provides 1/7th speed fine-focusing, and it can be installed on either side of the focusing shaft.

The Dual Speed Focuser can be retrofitted to the rack and pinion focuser by removing one of the focusing knobs attached to it. If the focus knobs are held in place by screws, a pinion gear shaft will be needed to complete the assembly.

A: Absolutely. I have used the Profoto RFI speedlight speedring with my 2 Yongnuo RF-602s. Just screw in the bolts on the speedring to the bottom of your radio trigger which is usually size 1/4 thread for tripod bolt. As long as the PW's is at the same size, it should work just fine. I use 2 Nikon SB-700 speedlights that can swivel to 360 degree to adjust the position and direction of the light. There is no other adjusment available that comes with the speedring.

A: The beauty dish has a built in speedring, so you will not be able to mount it to a speedlight speedring.

A: I have the 2 x3 softbox which use it mostly with this. Even though the speedring looks strong as it's all metal, the only weak point is the handle and I had problems before. It's all plastic inside and if you force to tight it will brake. I had to replace mine with an metal handle and it's fine now.

A: If the lens was placed further or closer than 4.7" from the subject, it will be difficult to focus for 1:1.

A: Using the Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/4 Macro Lens for Nikon F with the Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter on a Z-mount camera will give you the same results as using this on an F-mount camera. When shifted to the maximum it is possible to get a bit of vignetting on a full-frame camera, but this would be the same whether used on f-mount or adapted.
