A: While it may be possible to use this in a cage, we are not aware of any cage that will be form fitted to fit with HDMI Protectors on this specific monitor.

A: I have not checked into that connection I am using the HDMI into my Canon XA25 as a viewfinder versus the 3 on the camera. Sorry I was not help.
