The RX10 Mk IV fits onto the RC2/200PL system easily, but because the barrel of the lens is smaller in diameter than the camera is tall, when parallel to the lens support, the lens support does not bear the weight of the lens at all. Using the 234 tilt head, you -could- tilt the head/camera downwards so that the lens is supported by the platform, but from testing here at the store, the lens does not exhibit significant downward weight/torque on the camera side, so it really shouldn't be necessary.

A: For this specific combo, I do not have an answer. However, I have a collection of a number of classic SLR's and lenses and have this attachment. While a little cumbersome, have found it very useful for a number of systems and prime and zoom lenses, including Olympus, Canon FD, Minolta MD, and several Nikons. I would purchase it again and believe it will probably work for the 2.8 Canon. Primes work better than zooms I have tried. All my equipment is manual focus so have no comment for AF. It's a jury-rig, but I find it helpful to wrap a thick rubber band around the zoom barrel to help keep the same zoom settings in place.
